Its most likely a placebo thing, even knowing that though it does have some effect for me, pretty much halves my gag reflex so I can deep throat.

No I don't think it wrecked forever, it has been 2 weeks and it is getting better but it is still swollen pretty bad. A paintball did not do this, I was doing a hip slide and planted my hand and got my thumb caught on the turf and dislocated it.

How do I properly lose my gag reflex?
The whole 'put pressure on your thumb' thing only works so well.
That is to say - nowhere near enough.

I've heard brushing your tongue with your toothbrush until you gag, and doing so every night until your gag reflex area recedes backwards, is something that's meant to work.

I've won the genetic lottery on a lot of counts, but not when it comes to the gag reflex.
