I was surprised by how normal it felt. The guy did all the regular doctor things like taking my blood pressure and weight, then we had a short discussion about what I'm hoping to gain from hormones. He handed me the informed consent papers and I went to the phlebotomist down the hall to get some blood taken right away, I don't even have to see an endo. I did the STI testing while I was there, too. I've got a followup appointment in two weeks, he said we'll look over the test results and he can write me a prescription. I felt like I was dreaming looking over the paperwork... Gonna go over it with my parents when my mom returns from her business trip in a few days.

Then I went to see a lady about getting a gender therapist and got put on a 3-6 week waiting list, which isn't a big deal since I already have a very helpful counselor atm, even though she's inexperienced with trans patients.

So yeah, pretty productive and positive all around. I ate some bomb Chinese food afterwards.
