Also, the language barrier made things weird for me too. I don't speak any French and having nurses speaking French was anxiety inducing but probably less than it would have been otherwise, hooray for opiates. Going to Thailand sounds like its own brand of scary.

Also, it was just like occasional teasing. I don't talk a lot about my life before transition because certain parts of it are kind of embarrassing to me, I was pretty clueless about actually being trans and really stumbled a lot trying to man up. Yeah, I may actually be a bit more comfortable with it desu. I think I've maybe shared my deadname once or twice in the past 6 years, and never with anyone irl or outside of trans spaces. I'm willing to hint at it generally but that's about it.

Also, yeah, I was kinda clueless desu. I didn't know being trans was actually a thing so I just sort of carried on as normal and was pretty much a permanently anxious wreck because of it. The best way is just jumping to a river. Water works the same way as helium if you can abandon the initial fear and just breath it before your body fills with CO2 and if you chose right they'll nevr find the body so you save them the guilt.

just use safety razors, am I using the wrong word? it's virtually impposible to hurt yourself with one, I use them until they stop having an edge and never got a cut besides a pimple or something.
Also cutting never made sense to me. Tried it in my teens and the release that pain gives felt unwarranted. Why would I make myself feel good if I hate myself?
