well making a salad is much cheaper than $4. you can get a big thing of spinach and buy some cucumbers and stuff for that much and have enough salad materials to last like a week, homemade dressings can be really good but if you do olive oil and buy the fancy expensive stuff it does add up I suppose. idk. where do you eat your lunches? if it's at work and you have a microwave you can make a big batch of soup for reaaaally cheap that'll be like $1 per super filling meal
