whichever side of the restroom issue you are on, you know the other side will NOT change their mind. - SO, here's the simple solution: replace not-so-private stall based restrooms with private single occupancy restrooms. the revamp would only cost $2,000 or so to make the change. each private restroom would be for ANYONE to use. this would protect children (and adults) from perverts of all types (including pseudo-trans people who are just pretending), and it would serve those who don't feel comfortable in a particularly gender specific restroom. any business that is worth patroning would gladly spend this drop in the bucket. they would probably even be able to write it off as a business expense on their taxes. government buildings, including schools (lots of fund raiser ideas: bake sale, candy bar sales, gofundme, indiegogo, private donations, etc...), could do this too. it would be one of the least wasteful ways in a long time to spend tax dollars.
