I'm going to try to go stealth mode and buy some girls cloths at walmart. The thing is, I don't want to get noticed. How can I tell if something will fit on the fly? I mainly just want to get a top.

Check the sizing chart. (Google "brandname sizing chart")

For tops, shoulder and length measurements are best to go by. If it fits appropriately, the sleeves should not flare and the armpit area should not pinch. Flared sleeves are also sometimes a result of bad cuts.

You should refer to the measurements of the actual items you're going to try on because they can vary wildly.
