so i came home, i cried a bit, i ate ice cream. the weird thing about being a tranny is all the things i was told, that family will abandon you, random people will be mean and give you weird looks and call you shit, but at least you'll get the medical help you need if you're persistent and this is Britain, you will have protections in the workplace against discrimination and harassment... it's been the opposite. medical stuff and transitioning while in employment has been terrible, random strangers and family have been great. people i've never met before are lovely to me, more so than pretransition. its so weird
