the post 2013 release of the LCP is actually a really nice little gun, even if it looks dumb. 6+1 round capacity, easiest conceal ever. I've never had any problems with mine, but if I did have to give it some crit? there's no safety, so the +1 is a danger for fast draw, double action trigger takes some getting used to, and the sights are (understandably) tiny. For what it is, it's excellent though. Just a wee compact pocket gun.

Never was fond of tanto tipped knives, but if it's full tang and it floats your boat, that's all it needs to do. I live in Canada where even my pepper spray isn't legal to use in self-defense, not that I've ever felt like I might have to use it. Been thinking of getting a kabuton on a friend's recommendation.

I'm in Canada as well but we all carry knives. Everyone has a fucking knife, instead of gun collections we have knife collections from what I've seen. The only issue is you can't be carrying the knife for 'self defense', it has to be as a tool.

Also, my city requires all knives to be carried in concealment anyways. Sorry

The city of New York makes it nearly impossible to own a pistol, let alone carry one concealed. It's also incredibly hard to get a permit in the city itself for a rifle or shotgun.

Upstate is still pretty shitty, but at least we can get long guns without registration/license. Pistols are still a bitch, with a crapton of pointless red tape and bureaucracy that could take several months to get an answer from the licensing officer/judge whether you have the right to even own a pistol.

The NY SAFE Act bans "assault weapons", but that law is entirely unenforceable, 90% of cops don't give a shit, 90% of the counties told the state to fuck off and 96% of "assault weapons" owners didn't even obey the law when it went into force. Including me >>5744625
