What books does /lgbt/ like? Any favorite book you would recommend?
Here is one, it's about a gender ambiguous boy who is taken away from his foster parents house by his diabolical teenage mother with the help of social services followed by a grotesque road trip of a disturbed young woman hooked on drugs and sex dragging along her weirdo bastard son she doesn't love at all. It's a collection of intertwined gritty, edgy, gory, Southern Gothic-like stories calmly told from a perspective of a child as they try to handle difficult situations in their own way and if you love over-the-top stereotypes about white trash and fanatic Christians you are going to love this book.

the only trans writer I've read was Billy Martin, but I read a couple of his books before he transitioned, so I didn't know. It retrospect it's kinda obvious. Fun but genre fic only.
