I personally think it was religion and christianity that made people so repressed sexually. In ancient China for example they didn't even have a word for being gay. You just loved who you loved and it was no big deal. Same in lots of other older societies.
When the world gets rid of the chains of religion and societal pressure, I'm pretty sure there will come a time when everyone will just accept that, yep most of us are born bi.
