Apparently my mom was talking to my brother's fiancee's parents and said something like "we don't have a daughter so we're happy to help out with the wedding." No one, including her, caught that mistake I guess.

Hey /mtfg/, I have a slight personal identify problem that I'm sure you've heard a thousand times before.
I'm pretty sure I'm not trans, so that's where this issue lies. I'm asexual, male, but fairly certain my life would be a fair bit better if I had been born male. It would be better in ways that cannot be fixed with mere hormones and SRS. I'm male fairly comfortable with that, but I often get annoyed by that thing between my legs (god that's annoying sometimes, just gets in the way and shit). Orgasms are often just kind of a let down (don't get me wrong, they're okay but masturbation is only very, very minorly enjoyable (I wouldn't even go so far as to say pleasurable) and when I cum it's like "is that it?") and I would gladly stop wasting my time with masturbation but there's that pesky libido thing. If I were female I could just stick a vibrator down there and that'd be that.
I'm an incredibly cuddly and affectionate person, but since I'm so blatantly male my intentions are second guessed and people think I'm just trying to get in bed with them. That's especially bad for when I'm trying to just make female friends. I'm more comfortable around girls than guys, but I can't easily make female friends for obvious reasons (because apparently guys and girls can't be friends, something will apparently always happen or something). If I was female that'd be a far different situation.
It feels like people would just get along better with me if I wasn't a dude. I could be more social, I'd be on the better end of the double standard that is society.

Oh, and there's this whole thing that I forgot to mention that is that sometimes I feel I should have a vagina instead of (though sometimes as well as) a penis. This most often shows up when masturbating, but that's present right now as well. This part is throwing me off the most because I'm fairly certain I'm not trans. I'm relatively comfortable as a guy, but when I think about it I think I'd be more comfortable as a girl.

I don't know if I'd be comfortable if I transitioned, though. This is one major reason I say I'd probably be happier if I was BORN female. I'm mostly fine with my body as-is. To be completely honest I don't "feel" particularly male (or female, for that matter), I just kind of am. Like my brain is somewhat detached from my body but comfortable residing in it, if that makes sense. Maybe uncomfortable with change and more comfortable with different starting variables altogether.
