Ask the nurse drawing blood if you can hold her hand, and let them know you have trouble with blood. I get really bad fainting spells even thinking about getting blood drawn but that stuff really helps me. Even then I usually spend 30 minutes on the chair after getting it drawn before I've calmed down enough to get back up. But it's better than detransing because of a phobia.

I think that would make me more uncomfortable holding a stranger's hand haha. I kind of wish I just fainted when I got it drawn, at least I wouldn't have to be conscious during the whole thing. Instead I have to feel every second of it, and every second feels like it lasts forever. I know there is a patch out there that numbs the area completely(which I'm sure would make the experience 1000x better) but when I asked some doctors about it they just said they don't offer anything like that. It requires a prescription to use too so I need a doctor to get it from.
