Bisexual erasure isn't really a life-changing, crippling issue, but it does make it much more difficult to get other people to abandon the myths about bisexuality. Basically bisexual erasure is the media/general population avoiding talking about it or using other language instead of saying bisexual. Glee, Orange Is the New Black both guilty of this kind of stuff. As far as general LGBTQ issues go, it's pretty low-priority. But it is probably the biggest problem bisexuals face, that and the fact that we get shit from both the queers and the straights. Not gay enough for one, too gay for the other.

I don't know about you, but I deal with a lot of self hate in my life. This is not one of the things I hate about myself. Being proud of yourself and accepting of yourself simply is not enough in a social species like our own. It's not even about others' acceptance of my sexuality, it's the fact that I'm now unacceptable in EVERY way because of my sexuality.
