>>35182965
it is shit
that you are considering it indicates that you are cheap
>>35182974
this desu senpai
heel mag release a shit
>>35182974
This
or even worse it indicates you're poor
>>35182965
hey martin
What's wrong with it?
>>35183002
it is a Beretta
>>35183002
this particular one has a heel release. As opposed to a browning thumb release. Or at least that's the reasonable version of it. I've alse read that it's a thumb release on the heel like an uzi.
>>35182965
buy one if you can find one cheap
>>35182965
Generally old Eurotrash police surplus. They'll probably run fine but they're gonna be rough.
Heel release is a big minus to me.
>>35183009
Gaylord.
>>35183291
Basically, they're only worth it if cheap, otherwise get a brand new 92A1
>>35182965
It is a neat collector's gun. It is a bad choice if you intend to try to take advantage of the Beretta aftermarket mods.
Make sure what you buy matches your purpose.
>>35182978
>poor people shouldn't have the right to defend themselves
Seriously you faggot triple nigger go die
>>35182974
>>35182977

>>35183284
>>35183602
t. never used one
heel release is just fine
>>35182965
Good grip
Trigger can be made good but doesn't come good.
Barrel is not always centered to slide, does not affect function. The barrel has its own rails separate from frame rails (because fuck if I know why)
Common complaints about them shooting low.
If you put a couple hundred dollars in aftermarket parts, it reall has a nice action.
Old design and heavy, sexy though.
>>35184817
that's not a 92S
>>35183613
>It is a bad choice if you intend to try to take advantage of the Beretta aftermarket mods.
Skeletonized hammer, fluted guide rod and complete Wilson Combat competition spring kit job here, there's plenty of tinkering you can do to these bad boys
>>35182974
>>35182977
ignore these faggots
92s is fine
>>35185576
Is this picture mirrored? You're not left handed, right?
>>35182965
>Beretta 92S
yes. is good
>>35182965
Must be a lot of czfags or glockfags on today, /k/ usually loves the fuck out of beretta's. anyhow, you should get it and spend a few bucks on upgradeds as this anon did. You won't regret it.
>>35185576
>>35186163
and the heel mag release isn't a big deal unless you have turbo autism
>>35185576
Yeah, anyone should be careful taking your advice, cro-maganon. Maybe he doesn't want to beat his gun with a rock.
>>35184891
Real perceptive aren't ya.
>92s $280-300
>used 92fs $380-400
>FUCKING NEW 92FS $470-580
Look at your finances, decide what your budget is.
>>35186293
Holy fuck! Is it that guy? I was loosing my shit watching that thread unfold. Straight gold
>>35184817
>10 shot group

Get gud loser
>>35186288
But bro without the one handed mag release you can't Magpul® Brand™ Magpul® MagFlip© then tactically reload one handed while dynamically mashing chicken tendies into your mouth after having mag dumped at a target 7 yards away.
>>35182965
+trigger pull
+part availability from compatible models
magazines and panel grips for newer models
can be converted to work.
+reliable
+cheap
+accurate
-very large for a 9mm larger than some 1911
-I have seen Italian trade ins at Buds Gun Shop
that didn't work. Like any surplus gun I suggest
you buy it in person and get your pick of the lot.
-sights, good accuracy tiny sights, They take
some practice.
Not the best but far from the worst.
For $300 you'll likely never regret it.
If you want the beretta 92 experience, buy an Italian police surplus version for around 300$. Only difference is the mag release on the Italian is botttom of mag well.
IMO the the size and weight no longer justifies the capacity. Heavy AF. I carry one everyday on duty(not my choice). Get something polymer
>>35182965
It's a beretta thats worn a bit, cheaper, and has a heel release. That's all you need to know. There's not much to say other than that.
>>35186198
I own a cz and a beretta and a glock. What now?
>>35186373
I've never seen a used 92fs for less than 450.
>>35182965
Not many people know this but the locking block on these WILL eventually kaput after a few thousand rounds.
Not really a flaw more like a consumable part. Not a bad idea to have a backup to have in a drawer and forget about until that day comes.
>>35186533
You could probably get one for $400 or less on Armslist right now. Buds has them brand new for $469 with free shipping - or at least they did a few days ago, I don't know if that's changed.
>>35186447
I'm trying
>>35184891
Yeah, hadn't realized OP meant s as opposed to other variants rather than other brands etc.
>>35186533
Summit had a small batch of trades come through (sold out now) for $350 or $390 with Trijicon sights. GB has them for $385-400. Most go fast at those prices.

Was the smashed up roll pin the giveaway? Anyways, my sweet baby girl shoots like a dream now
>>35186729
Where are the pics of the home-smithing shit sandwich?
>>35186753
I think I lost them, they were on an old phone and I've cleaned up my computer since then. Does anyone have a link to the thread on archive? I'm trying to think of how to even search it
>>35182974
Fucking this. They're just way too mechanical in a clunky way. If you want a service pistol, get a Glock or a 1911 instead.
>>35186773
>They're just way too mechanical in a clunky way
Can you try that again without sounding like an absolute retard?
>>35186773
>way too mechanical
>1911 instead
Unless you spend lots of schmeckles on one expect to tinker with it to keep it running. complete disassembly is something most 1911 owners have never done. Suggesting a complex design that originated with custom fitting because "less mechanical" makes zero fucking sense to me.
Bought one when they were like $250, sold it a month ago. The sights are just awful and can't be replaced, that was the main deal breaker for me. Add in the lack of compatibility with other 92 aftermarket and the awkward mag release and you're better off just saving a couple hundred more and getting a 92fs
>>35182965
+It's probably one of the best guns you can pick up for 300 dollars, far outpaces SR9E and SD9VE
+Many times they have only had a few rounds put through them
+Aftermarket because Beretta 92
+Already broken in so you're not going to freak out about using it and or getting some wear on it4
-Sights suck dick, painting the front sight with a white industrial marking paint pen off amazon alleviates most of the issue
-some stock grips are horrible and aftermarket is limited because of the heel release but good alternatives do exist and can be found even on ebay. It appears that there are two versions of the grips, some that are fully textured from the factory and some that are partially. Speaking from experience the partial is terrible.
+/- Can be in good shape or really rough shape depending on the order a retailer gets in. Do not buy a batch that they've been sitting on for a month. Wait keep an eye out for a fresh on and get in early.
If you want a first pistol or a Beretta 92 but don't want to pay alot, it's a fantastic deal. Anyone saying other wise is the same retard that will tell you you need a 490 dollar knife.
>>35186849
What's the proper sight picture on the 92S? I feel like I'm always a bit off no matter what I try
>>35186773
What the fuck are you even trying to complain about.
>Way too mechanical
Why, because it has a hammer? Big fucking deal. All of my striker pistol friends have complimented my 92FS.
>>35186773
>They're just way too mechanical in a clunky way
What age were you when school officials told your parents that you were retarded?
Might be fat and not the new tactical operator striker fired handgat chosen by the Mongolian Special Forces but love it!
>>35186773
- t. manlet
This is now a 92fs thread
Make sure the safety is always off
>>35187357

How can I do/buy that
>>35187403
>wanting a shiny chromed and polished firearm
your sickness is incurable.
please rush to the nearest gas station and set yourself on fire
>>35187403
You buy a 92 and pay some Mexican to polish it.
>>35187403
pulled the images from gunpolishing(com). Not sure what they charge.
>>35182965
Literally identical to any other 92, save for the heel release and front sight being part of the slide. I suggest applying paint to the sights with a toothpick to make them stand out better. Other than that, they're great guns. I got mine from Southern Ohio for $270, and it was in nearly flawless condition.
