Beretta owners get in here.
post your beretta guns.
Wish there were more accessories for 92s, only thing I've put on it is a metal guide rod.
>>35175531
Like what? I thought there were aftermarket parts for everything on the 92. I know WC makes bunch of them
>>35175514
>>35175554
But tripfaggot, that's so fucking tacky looking. Like a $0.99 novelty mug from a gas station in a touristy area or something.
Not even accounting for the crap tier animeme, just the shitty transparent resin grips.
>>35175679
They have a low coefficient of friction so you can be high speed low drag.
>>35175679
They also look like they give about 0 grip, looks like a great way to have to readjust your grip after every shot.
>>35175679
plexi glass actually.
>>35175694
I really don't notice a difference in shooting these grips and the stock ones since my hands can wrap around the whole gun easily.
>>35175733
>plexi glass actually.
As if it makes a difference. It looks like a dollar store watergun whatever they're made of.
I really fucking want one of these but I am a poorfag student. I don't think i have ever seen a sexier handgun
>>35175892
please do better then.
I will buy a set off you if you can.
>>35176123
There are a hundred better looking grip options out there at a minimum. Factory grips would be a start, VZ Grips are another option, Wilson Combat is another. A cursory google search will reveal plenty more.
Unless you're actually so committed to having your shitty low test waifu plastered on your gun grips that you're willing to completely thrash the aesthetics and actual grip characteristics of your gun. In which case, you're a lost cause and should just kys anyway. There'd be something poetic about first responders prying that sad statement out of your hands. Do it for the art, if nothing else.
What companies make 92S compatible mags? Planning on buying one for myself this Christmas.
I bought a 92fs yesterday and when I field stripped it for the first time and went to reassemble it, there was some grit in the action. I pulled the slide off, looked at the rails and found silvered spots/scuffs, apparently from the locking block dragging against it, on the frame rails. I looked over the frame rails before putting the slide on, and they were jet black. I haven't shot the gun yet. There was a lot of resistance reassembling it too, although the slide is now going onto the frame normally. Is this normal? It looks like I just damaged my new gun.
>>35176286
>>35176286
Did you buy it brand new?
>>35176305
Brand new, still in the factory oil. I assume the action was just tight from the factory. I've just never seen a gun that would damage itself like that the first time I was field-stripped.
>>35176314
It's likely there was still a piece of manufacturing debris floating around the action. Not unusual for a gun new out of the box. If you haven't already, give it a little brushing with a toothbrush and a good wipe down with a very light coat of oil.
The finish is definitely going to get worn off a few places on the internal contact surfaces, but that's normal. New production pistols have about a 200 round break in period, which seems to be lost knowledge among a huge amount of the gun community these days. A lot of the shitposting you see about guns on /k/ is a result of people buying new guns and not giving them a cleaning and 200 rounds to break in before spouting their uninformed opinions.
>>35175514
Hey there friends, I will be adding a few upgrades by Christmas as I am of broke collegefag. I will be adding a skeletonized hammer and a TLR-1. Any suggestions on what else I should do maybe instead of the skeletonized hammer? I also want to get wood grips. Sorry for the bloggy post.
>>35176232
92fs 15 rd mags work
>>35176334
Thanks.
Anyone know where I can purchase an inexpensive holster for my M9A1 with TLR-1 attached?

Fuck
>>35176382
No problem, just trying to contribute something useful against the incredible flood of shit on /k/ these days.
Happy shooting anon.
>>35176286
Is it Italian made or American?
Beretta generals are /k/omfy
>>35176529
Italian. It appears that most of the resistance came from these little slots where I think the locking block slides into. It must be a case of very tight tolerances because now that I've field stripped the gun a few times, it's smoothed out quite a bit.

Hi Nick
>>35176960
I've just never owned a gun that required a break in period to get the slide back on the frame...
>>35176969
That is surprisingly tight in all honesty, but I wouldn't say it's indicative of a problem. When the gun is all assembled does racking the slide ETC all work as intended?
>>35177037
Keep in mind, I haven't shot this gun yet. I probably should have just shot it a bit and THEN disassembled it, although it didn't really have any lube on the rails from the factory.
Everything appears to be fully functional when the slide is on the gun.
>>35177057
>I probably should have just shot it a bit and THEN disassembled it.
Nah, it's always a good idea to take a brand new gun down, clean it out good to get any manufacturing debris out, and then reassemble with appropriate amounts of good quality lube before you take it to the range the first time. In that regard, you did everything right.
Now it's time to go put some rounds through that thing though.
>>35175514
>literally nothing in focus
Has bokeh whoring gone too far?
>Tfw I'll probably never get my Samurai Edge grips
Emailed the guy and had everything set up, he said two months. It's been like 6 or so now
>>35175554
If a saw a guy with anything anime style in a SHTF scenario, he's eating lead as soon as I can get the drop on him.
No way in hell I'm letting a grown man obsessed with little cartoon girls run around armed in my community.

Fight me faggot, I'll oldfag you right into an early meme grave.
>>35175597
Most of the 90-series aftermarket is geared towards the FS and M9. Older models like 92S don't necessarily share parts compatibility for some things.
bought the metal guide rod assembly. Just got it yesterday. Nothing wrong with the old plastic one, but I have heard of reports of the plastic ones breaking.
Picture from google cause I'm not home right now.
>>35176026
Try a Taurus PT58.
I'm going to rent an M9A1 next time I go to the indoor range here in town. Because I'm a fag that likes spending more money than necessary on my guns, what are some companies besides Wilson Combat that make some nice aftermarket parts?
>>35178652
Most parts your gonna want come straight from the beretta website
>>35175514
>post your beretta guns
>>35180491
>safeties on
ummm sweetie...
First pistol I got was an M9A1, don't regret that shit.
>>35180565
I see you got the hogue plastic grips and TLR-2. Why didn't you go with the TLR-1 HL?
Also got a .380 1934 Beretta for a whopping "wun twenty five"
>>35180583
I thought it looked too small on the front rail, so I shilled out for the TLR-2 instead.
>>35180598
You prefer that bulk?
>>35180610
Yeah, makes 9mm shots even less of an issue than they are normally.
FUCK I want a matching 92fs and cheetah set, why are the lines on berettas so fucking subtly hot? Are Berettas just patrician taste?
>>35177129
That's a cz
God dammit Parker it's /pbg/, not this (((/berg/))) kike shit
H-h-hey guys.
I really wanna get some wood panels for my PT92.
