Which rifle caliber, or pistol caliber do you enjoy shooting the most and why? Let's try to omit considerations of cost per round.
I like shooting .38. special. Something about the recoil impulse that feels great, it has a nice sound, and revolvers are just simply fun to shoot.

You mean for just plinking? .22LR.
Any other answer is wrong.
>>35168320
9mm. Cheap enough to plink with, fun enough I want to.
>>35168320
I shoot .38 Special the most. Affordable to shoot frequently, and pleasant to shoot.

7.62x54r or 7.62x39 out of a mosin and sks respectively.
Im sad i dont have a k31 and gp11
>>35168320
38 special

What i LOVE to shoot is muh fuddy-aught-six
What is a pain in the ass to pay for is the same.
>>35168320
8mm Mauser.
It's just the most satisfying to me.

>Im sad i dont have a k31 and gp11
Honestly, my k31 is my least favourite and least shot of my milsurps. It's neat and well built, I'll give it that.
>>35168320
I also enjoy .38 Special. My grandad dispatched many an outlaw with his Smith & Wesson. Now, decades later, I enjoy shooting his service revolver.
>>35168320
For free? 44mag
I'm paying? 9mm
>>35168555
Ignoring cost my K31 is one of my favorites, if only because I like working the bolt. Same for my Krag.
>>35168320
8mm mauser was my first caliber i ever shot, and gosh darn is it fun

IMO nothing compares to dumping mag after mag of 7.62x39 out of an AK.

.38 special is fun, cheap, and I like it. I have a .38 snub and I love it, it's just fun.
Other than that, there's just something about laying down in a field and taking long shots with an SKS that you can't beat.
.45 African Child Penetrator
I have a Kriss in .45 and damn is that a fun gun to shoot! I have an HK45 as well that's a good time as well.
>inb4 fuddy five
>inb4 ballistic argument ensues
I just like the dull thud of 230 grains on steel
>>35168320
.50AE, because I like everything about it. It's a huge, sexy round. It's loud. It has a lot of recoil without being stupid about it. And it feels like you're shooting a fucking GUN instead of a toy.
>>35168320
I find .357 sig oddly satisfying
Pistol: 40 S&W. More recoil than 9mm, but not too much more. Perfect.
Rifles: 22LR and .223 for plinking.
True most fun: 12 gauge slugs

everything about this post screams, "cuck!" at the top of its lungs.

>mag dumping
17 hmr is fun

OP checking back in after a nap. I am surprised to see so many other people also pick .38 special. I have shot 9mm far more than any other round, but I definitely find .38 to be the most fun. I have also been carrying it for a while now.
If I had to pick a rifle cartridge that I enjoy shooting the most, I might have to cheat and say 12ga birdshot or something... Shotguns are fucking fun.
>>35169266
You can hear whatever you want to hear. OP asked for an opinion, and I gave mine.
I normally shoot .45, or .22LR. But the few times I've shot .50AE, I absolutely LOVED THE FUCK OUT OF IT! If liking something you don't agree with makes me a cuck, then cuck I shall be.

Larger bolt actions. 7,62x54 and 7,92x57.
>>35169270
>i hate fun
>>35168320
20mm Vulcan. It's completely ridiculous, but goddamn does it put a smile on my face.
Obligatory .22lr, but that doesn't count.
Probably .303 out of my Lee Enfield
It's pleasant to shoot, and the rifle itself shoots pretty okay for abused 70 year old surplus with garbage sights being shot by an incompetent.
if its free, my 45-70 lever gat

As far as shotguns go I've really gotten into 410 lately. My dad started me on one when I was a kid and now as an adult I'm fucking loving it. I'm strongly considering getting a sXs or over-under in 410. Maybe even the semi auto Remington 1100 assuming everything fits right on it.

Shotguns are a blast
I don't have a huge variety of firearms, but I mostly enjoy shooting my M44. I usually shoot at a steel target at about 75-100m, watching the round impact the target and then hearing the sharp "ping" is really satisfying.
>>35169635
Amen to that.
I love my .303 No. 5
It really is a pleasure to shoot, and powerful enough for anything I want to do other than real long range applications.
>>35168320
I find my bersa thunder .380 very enjoyable on close targets.

it's just so fun
