It's just a lighter, better pull with a flat face. Flat faces tend to feel lighter than curved even for the same actual pull weight.
It's an Overwatch Precision DAT.
Gun also has a heavy striker spring, which gives more reliable ignition at the expense of a slightly heavier trigger pull, but it also makes the reset stronger. A 6 pound trigger spring and a reduced weight FP block spring to lower pull weight. It also has polished internal parts to smooth the pull. Lastly I t has a "2 lb" race connector which doesn't actually make the pull 2 pounds unless you use a reduced power striker spring but still shortens and lightens the pull.
All of this makes for a decent trigger pull for a Glock without sacrificing safety or ignition reliability and keeps the reset strong (lots of "kits" give shittt mushy reset).
Some day I will add a SS trigger housing pin but it's pretty low on the list. I didn't feel like it was even noticeable when I put one in another gun but the idea is it removes possible flex from the polymer pin.

No, I don't. It doesn't really need one, IMO. The factory trigger pull is super long and like 13 pounds. This one is modified but still I have no concerns about carrying it with an exposed trigger. That said, I would not feel OK about carrying a Glock or something like that without the trigger guard covered.
It's mostly a backup but I carry it sometimes as my only gun while lounging around.
If you want to carry a revolver personally I would look at .327 fed mag. For the form factor you get one extra round vs .357 mag and give up basically nothing in ballistics. One round means a lot in a gun that's as slow to reload as a revolver. It makes your gun options limited and means unless you reload you buy ammo online but to me those aren't that big of a deal. I like the 4" SP101 but that may be bigger than you want to carry, though I think the size is just about right. Ruger used to make a 3" 327 you can find on the used market.
If you want to stay with .357 go read LuckyGunners testing on 38/357. You may find 38 to be better suited especially if you want a snub nose.
