It passed committee in the House. Now it has to pass the full floor vote in the House. Then it goes to committee in the Senate, and then to the Senate floor. If at any point the house and senate versions differ, then they have to start all over again until both houses pass the same version of the bill.

Before you get frustrated, remember that this is a major reason why we don't have more gun control. Laws should be hard to pass for a reason: so that there's less of them.
