I can open carry but the city I live by is pretty safe and full of liberals, so it's not worth the hassle. Once I turn 21 I'm definitely getting my concealed carry permit and carrying my SP101.

I go to the range one per month, I fire one round and then leave. I practice this way because one round is all I need.

About 200 on a slow month. More in winter because i can justify indoor ranges with white bullshit everywhere.

Probably like 50, enough to stay proficient but not taking away from my other stuff that's more enjoyable to shoot than a P938.

Am I the only one here who shoots like once every 3 to 4 months? Every time I go shoot I shoot just as well as last time.

And before people say that I must shoot like crap, I used to compete in IPSC comps and I was a firearms instructor for a while as well.

It's kinda like riding a bike for me. To be honest I kinda go just to try out new funs I acquired, whether a new carry or range toy.

Or to shoot out my old carry ammo. To be fair though I constantly shoot pellet guns in my back yard so I guess I do have more trigger time than I originally thought.

I never even go shooting. I don't have any friends, and I don't know how to make friends that I can trust not to let the entire range of people shoot me to death, something I fear is all too likely because of how unlikable I am.

A minimum of one mag per trip, usually two trips a month.
Sometimes if I have the cash I do a box or two.
Usually I go to fuck around with my rifles though, but even with the amount of practice I can reliably hit person sized targets around 25 yds (more than I'll probably need)

Bimonthly, about 100 rounds.

All my shots hit vitals on a mansized target at 25 feet - which is as far away as I will shoot someone attacking me. Further than that and I will be using a rifle or making a run for it.

I make sure I can accurately hit the target with slow fire, see how my luck fares with headshots at that distance (probably 80% chance of a solid headshot) and practice double taps to the torso, along with one solid mag dump just to see how fast I can empty a mag into the target.

I'm not hispeed-lowdrag l337 oper8t0r operating operationally. I'm an average joe who carries a pistol and knows his limitations.

I've been carrying a new sig229 for 2 years. And I've only fired 2 mags through the gun, and those were fired at my CHL course.

I also have 22 milsurp rifles, I haven't shot any of those in 3 years.

I just don't have the time to go shoot.
And the rifle ranges here just suck.
