If you buy this you will look like a school shooter

>>

An AR-15 and a trench coat will get you a higher score.

Its a pretty subpar choice at its price range.
>>
>>35130795
2nd gen is ok. It's still a kel-tec. It's a fucking disposable firearm.
>>
>>35130795
They are serious fun.

I won't. For the most part, it's a solid little gun. Despite the KelTec sux meme, mine has been 100% reliable, and eats everything I throw at it.

Biggest complaint: iron sights are a little low, making them hardish to use.

Get the Gen 2, Glockazine version.
>>
>>35130833
The CX4 has like 15. pounds on the Sub 2000 you mong. They're not for the same thing.
>>
>>35130795
No reason not to if you can find one. Otherwise the skorpion + tailhook does the same thing with a shorter barrel and has a lot more aftermarket support. It's also expensive though.
>>
>>35130878
do you even lift?
>>
I have owned a sub 2000, it's a piece of shit gun

honestly, don't buy one... traded mine for a glock
>>
>>35130905
I'm not saying the CX4 is too heavy, it's still a really light gun. But it's not meant to have the same purpose.
>>
You're gonna want the new style if you do get one. Always buy the newest iteration of a Keltec gun. They change a shit ton of stuff an fix problems. Follow Ktog forums. Also buy a couple extractors.
>>
>>35130914
See I've seen some people say that they haven't had any issues, is their CQ just really hit or miss?

I went with a Roni micro for my intermediate and I'm liking it. But cheeking it is the only way I will shoot it for the moment...
>>
>>35131869
Mechtek's are 16" over all and aren't subject to the very unambiguous nomenclatures and legalese surrounding "pistols". How are the Roni's btw?

Lighter than my AR9 and significantly shorter.

Folds into my backpack.

Cheaper than a Glock with a far better warranty that's for life instead of a year.

Just invest in the Pepe Liberator. I hear they'll go for only a bit over 100 dollars.

I only have a micro stab even though the full stock is cheaper. So if your a leo I'd say go full for even better. Though it is a minute amount of ground to cover to make it a full stock....a shotgun recoil pad later and its full. Not saying do it though.

It's nice to shoot a 33 or 50rd and have them all hit a human size target.
>>
>>35131287
you have to be absolutely mad to put two stamps into that gun
>>
Pistol caliber carbines make no sense to me from a home defense perspective, which they are often recommended for.

>it folds and can get compact
Okay, but irrelevant from a HD standpoint.
>it takes glock mags
30 rd AR mags are $10
>it fires pistol cartridges
And how is this a pro? Why would you want to use this when an AR can deliver far more firepower using a decidedly more lethal round?
>less overpenetration
.223 shatters on contact with walls while 9mm will sail on through
>less blast
Ok, whatever
>>
>>35130795
I'll sell you mine: .40S&W Glock(perfection) Mags
Exactly 50 rounds shot through it. Similar to the one in your pic but with the better charging knob
>>
>>35135354
How much do you want for it? and are you in the midwest?

Daily reminder to have hearing protection next to your home defense gun at all times, otherwise you will hear ringing in your ears until the day you die.

Unless you mean brick/concrete walls, in which case

Yeah, he just completely became a nigger with the wall comment.
>>
good backpacking gun.
>>
>>35136472
Do you not know what 75/77gr OTM and OHP are? Or Hornady TAP? That's EXACTLY what they do. Total fragmentation and loss of lethality in as few as two sheets. Try doing some research before going "NUH UH".
>>
Just sold mine in 9mm. Sights are shit. Would make a good suppressor host if not in cucked state.
>>
>>35136901
they make a rotating mount. so you can put on a micro red dot and still fold it.
>>
>>35136920
Fair enough. I had to have the thread-protector pin-welded as this was before I moved to a free state, so it wasn't worth it.
>>
>>35136920
Last I checked those were what, $200? That's almost as much as the gun itself and kinda hard to justify.
>>
>>35135848
I'm in the North East and I would only ship to an FFL. I also have the rail handguard that KelTec made for it, (open package)but was never installed. It came with one 10rnd mag, but I throw in one more. Everything, $500 shipped. (The rail was an extra $150, extra Glock mag was like $25 too.)
