I have no other place do to this but I want a new hobby so I'm selling my PS4 and monitor to 1) pay for some of the shit I need and 2) make space for all of the shit I need. I'll probably just give the PC to my dad.
Haven't even played vidya in six months. If I ever need to all my games are on the PC anyways.
Is this enough space? Post reloading setups with household objects so I can get a frame of reference as to the amount of space they take up.
PS how the fuck do I mount the press on anything? Is this a requirement?
I just measured and it's roughly six square feet. There is plenty of room to store components in the cabinets above though.

My reloading set up is 8'x5' with cabinetry and shelves for about eight feet of height. Space is nice, but you really don't need much. Link related is a small setup design idea http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/tag/reloading/. Attach your presses with c-clamps if you don't want to drill bolt holes. Keep in mind, using presses can generate a lot of torque, so you need to make sure the surface you're attaching to is rigid enough.
here is a Dillon 650xl with the shell/Mr.bullet feeders, progressives can get pretty big. I would recommend one of the lee single stages or one of the RCBS starter kits if you have space concerns

Here's another small reloading setup that I found online that wouldn't be all that expensive either

Thanks anon, can I see a pic of your setup? Do you do the C-Clamp thing? I really want to avoid all the drilling and woodwork if possible
The press/press kit I have my eyes on is an RCBS Rockchucker btw
My table is 2 feet by 4.

this >>35130679 is my reloading set up. the table is 60in by 33in.

+1 for artwork and making do with what God gives you
On a scale of 1 to 10 how humbling/relaxing is it to reload for you? I'm starting to think less space is even better because it'll make it that much more /comfy/, especially being a foot away from my bed

Those things are tall but sexy
>>35130742
Same size here

I just want to make handloads dude. The art is just to break-up the wall color so my eyes dont go weird from facing a white wall for hours at a time

>Is this enough space?
Yes, though you will want a sturdier platform than that desk. Unless it's made of Oak or Ash or some other very hard wood.
>>35130766
Do you unnecessarily romanticize everything?
>>35130737
It's not nearly as aesthetic as >>35130679, but still. I don't do the c-clamp thing because I have presses bolted into several inches of red oak, so they aren't going anywhere, but I've seen other people doing it. I know a guy who reloads on his kitchen table even.

I'm pretty sure the desk isn't going anywhere, are you sure? How would I reinforce it? Different mounting method or something? Because getting new wood isn't an option
>>35130986
actually I do, like half my friends walked out on me in high school because I kept trying to give our group a stupid nickname and they had enough when I told them all to buy a thirty dollar t-shirt
>>35130922
Maybe if I suspend the crank over the most sturdy part? No way in hell it'll not be enough if I put it on the left side. I'm a lefty anyways so this works out nicely
>>35130766
>especially being a foot away from my bed
Yea, I really wouldn't be doing this a foot from my bed.
>>35131672
'tis more than a foot
Why though?
