I was looking for buis on eBay.
Found chinkstuff for $4.26 a set and holo sights for like $6.50.
I'm going to spend like $30 on some crap and see just how bad it is- if I can find one decent manufacturer it will be worth it in my circle of friends.

The assumption youre making is that every set of sights you buy from chang is going to be consistent. This isnt the case, especially with super cheap items. The set you buy may hold zero and stay in one piece but that doesnt mean the next set you buy will do the same

Very true.
Its more of an experiment. The cost of holos is ridiculous. I could buy 10 from chang and still be at 1/4 the price. If 2 of them worked id be well ahead financially. And all this crap at the LGS is made in China anyways.
I don't mind paying for quality, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when 2 products are made in the same factory and one of them is 4x the cost simply because of the label that's slapped on it.
If they turn out to be garbage I'll be the first to admit it and laugh at my dumbass.
