So SHTF in Colorado. You're being tracked by a small army. What gear do you bring?. How do you plan?. What's your tactics?.
I hope you've lived in that area for 20 years because unless you know the terrain better than we all know OP's mom, you're fucked.

Why is that

Fuck going into the Rockies after September, let me tell you that right now.
>Winter training exercise, 0degrees F
>8,000 ft elevation (not even that bad)
>snowshoeing with packs (infuriating)
>Sinking in snow up to your asshole
>socks frozen to feet
>At night, can't sleep more than a few minutes at a time, wake up from shivers
>At one point, bolt up out of my bivvy in the middle of the night certain that I'm either going to puke, shit, or both from the cold.
Also the plains in winter are a miserable shithole too but at least survivable in an environmental sense, but an invading army would be BTFO in the open expanses there or long before, considering the strategic depth that Colorado enjoys.

Sweet tits I've lived in my terrain for exactly 19 1/2 years I should be good. I have effectively learned to live in constant wetness.

In the summer, you'd be fine up in the mountains but any other season it's gonna get cold as shit. It's simply impossible to survive in the Rockies for more than a few days at a time up there. Unless you have a permanent shelter with all the amenities with a shit ton of supplies. Honestly, you'd be best off blending into a town or city like Colorado Shootings

*Colorado Springs

OPs mom, duh. I said constant, even CO has a summer.
>shtf in colorado
I was pondering that today, and the only situation I could imagine would be a nuke dropping in Denver.
Other than that, I can't imagine a plausible situation
