Concealed carry bread, lads. Just picked up pic related for CCW myself. What do you think? What do you all carry?
>>35121885
Why did you get the 75 P-07 instead of the gen 2?
>>35122225
Fatal mistake. The duty is dooty.
>>35121885
Question, I'm preparing for being able to conceal carry considering I have a year until I can. I have a Glock 17 polymer 80 build as my only pistol at the minute and the only place I can conceal it is in my SOB. I want to carry appendix but I feel like a Glock 19 would print too just like my polymer 80 build at 1 o'clock . I have a bit of a belly but not much, am I fucked?
>>35122605
Never shot the Duty, but I do have the P-07 with about 1000 rounds through it. I've shot a lot of really shit ammo and still haven't had a single malfunction.
>>35122780
I know a dude who appendix carried a 19 for several months and I never noticed it on him. What size person are you and what kind of clothes do you wear?
>>35122877
I'm 5"10 and somewhere in the 180 range, wear a size 34 waist pant and large size shirt, no one I know around here has a Glock 19 I could stick in my pants to see if it prints.
>>35122981
You might be a bit small for it but I can't say for sure. I don't know what size pants this guy wears but I'm pretty sure they're bigger than 34's.
>>35123005
I was also thinking maybe the Glock 43 the single stack nine if I still can't conceal the 19 or maybe a shield in 9
>>35123035
I've only ever dry fired a 43. I'm thinking about getting one myself but now that they're doing the whole new generation thing, I'm not sure if I should hold off or not.
>>35121885
I am trying to figure out a way to carry pic related.
I usually just carry a Bodyguard.
>>35123079
If I was 21 I would have bought one already just to have one. Damm government I am a law abiding citizen why must you put age restriction on purchasing firearms and getting a concealed license. I pay my fucking taxes let me do what I want.
>>35123079
>tfw 6'0" 190lbs
>cc a fnx-9 every day
Retards gonna be retarded
>>35123292
I don't know what your reply had to do with my post.
>>35123303 sry was for >>35122981

>>35123312
Your post does nothing to help me. I guess it was useful to keep the thread alive?
>>35123110
OWB 3 o'clock with concealment vest/jacket. This works better in areas where open carry is legal, because someone will probably notice if you do any reaching or bending over.
>>35123110
>>35124757
No I think a shoulder holster would be better, again better if open carry is ok but you will have to commit to the concealment garment
>>35122780
You could appendix a g19 at 5'10" 180 lbs. with a holster designed for appendix carry. It may be uncomfortable, but a good appendix IWB holster with adjustable hooks will help you find that sweet spot.
Small of Back is a really bad idea. 4:30-5 o'clock is as far as you ever want to go. Depending on your outift (dress shirt tucked in, loose pants/shorts, etc.) you may need different holsters to be comfy. The good thing about G19 is the amount of good holsters you can buy. Be prepared to go through a handful before you find a couple you love.
>>35124772
Shoulder holsters are not great.
>draw times are slow
>easy to flag self and others on draw
>poorly made ones dangle and move around alot when walking/running
>bang into your side and arm constantly
>does not conceal well and must have similar cover garment to OWB
But for looking cool, shoulder holsters are A O.K.
>>35124816
Alright thanks man!
>>35124846
Thank you for posting best waifu. And I think they can utilized just as well as any other style practice just makes perfect
>>35121885
I carry a gen 1 walther p99
Kinda wish the made a FNS 4" with short concealed carry grips like the compact. Unfortunately the lowers arent compatable.
>>35122981
I'm 5'11", 180, 33" and ran around with a P250 for a while AIWB and it wasn't really an issue. The holster and your dress style are gonna be the deciding factors
>>35121885
I have a gen 2 P-07 (2014 edition) and it's pretty alright. It shoots like a dream although the DA trigger is pretty gritty. As far as carrying, I only have an IWB hybrid holster and as long as I'm wearing something loose it's not a big deal. I actually haven't carried in a while but now that we're getting to the colder months I might start again although I like my LCR better for that.
>>35121885
anyone whos CC is a faggot. eider open carry like a man or no carry at all
>>35126886
Oh man Callum you really #trolled us
>>35122981
I carry a p07 with a tlr-1 on it and have no problems and I'm just a bit smaller than you. Get a decently stiff belt (blue alpha gear is what I use) and a good kydex holster and you'll be fine as long as you wear decently loose shirts
>>35123110
Fullsize M9 at 3.
It's not too hard if you wear a shirt one size bigger. It's also worth getting slightly more expensive shirts. Thicker material and higher thread count makes the shirt stiffer and cover better.

You can't call it "Beef and Bell Peppers" if there's no beef, Jet.
Good taste in guns, though
>>35126886
How to get targeted first in a shooting 101
I want a $300 pistol for pocket carry
what are my options
>>35124846
Then you get the kind of shoulder holster that doesnt flag and fits snug
I dont understand
What ammo do you guys carry in your gun of choice? I picked up a shield recently and have some +P Liberty Defense but I'm not sure if that's a good round for what I've got and if I should invest in anything else.
>>35121885
how do you carry it?
>>35127758
federal 124gr. HST for 9mm carry. The +P 124 and 147 are much harder to shoot, and the standard 124s do well in ballistic tests I've seen at Lucky Gunner.
Be sure to practice shooting your CC, anons.
>>35121885
Turning in my CC app hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday. Already own pic related.
>>35127309
>editing out his foxtail buttplug / bright colored panties
>>35122605
I've got one because I found it for $329. It's fine anon.
