What is the technical difference between an AR pistol and a normal AR or SBR? Is it just barrel length or is it something to do with the stock and/or gas block?

At that range, I'd test both my AR skills and my bolt rifle skills. A deer rifle will reach that far easy with the correct ammo and 100 yard group. I think I'd do a build similar to Suchka's PR and see just how far my skills would reach.
