Would you still shoot it?
>>35121226
Yes.
>>35121226
>7.62x39
Its fine.
>>35121226
No. This also makes me wonder what conditions are taken by Operators operating in a wetland operationally.
>>35121226
Not that shit, no. I did shoot about 100 rounds of 12 ga target loads after they dried out, though.
>>35121226
>>35121280
>he didn't buy the sealed shit
toss it
>>35121226
Clean it up, sell it during the next panic.
>t.jew
>>35121496
you can't clean it enough to pass it off, just shoot it and be careful of hangfires.
i recall some tal on this topic..not here.
Brush it up with a copper brush. LEt the shit sit for a while like a few weeks- months (shaking the rounds every few days)
its good.
Reload supplies
>>35121241
>>35121247
Pretty much
>>35121678
This, looks like those cases might not be sealed so your powder might be fucked.
The primer, primer cup, and bullet are still probably g2g though. Sell them on armslist or a reloader's forum and advertise them truthfully.
>>35121226
If you tossed that shit in a vibratory tumbler for about an hour you'd think it came straight off the factory line instead of a goddamn drowned nigger nest.
I'm pretty sure this is the kind of ammo middle east mercenaries use in the rusty AKs.
>>35121847
>>35121874
from what i hear they use reloads with questionable powder like old movie film.
>>35121226
Maybe dump them out in a tray of cat litter or rice, let that suck moisture off them then dry each one with a paper towel, give a quick rub-down with steel wool or brass brush to remove any surface rust and then rub a paper towel with clean motor oil on each one before repackaging and labeling clearly that they may be bad.
Dont save them for SHTF, take them for range days, somewhere where all you need to shoot is dirt and paper and there will be people nearby to give you medical aid when a case ruptures and scope glass gets launched into your eye.
>>35122030
that seems overly dramatic, they don't look that rusty
>>35122126
Nigga did you look at the 2nd picture?
>>35121923
What about Tula
>>35122030
Or just throw them away because shitty steal case x39 is like .20 cents a round these days.
>>35121226
I guess I'd give it a shot.
>>35121226
If it weren't rusted out steel case, I would. Worst case scenario they don't fire or hangfire or something but I don't know what the hell a weak case wall is going to do to my gun.
>>35121226
Clean off any obvious imperfections with CLP, then try cycling rounds before actually firing them.
>>35122517
>>35122517
Damnit carlos
>>35122517
>>35121226
Put them in the oven to dry them out.
>>35122170
going to be about the same as wolf i imagine.
>>35122995
That might work. Pick up a cheap counter top oven, I got a black and decker for my kydex projects for $20. Set it to 150-200deg and leave them for a few hours.
I know hinde sight is 20/20, this is why ammo cans are worth the investment.
After the oven, also try putting the loose rounds in an airtight container with some dessicant. Rice or kitty litter is slow but works
>>35124866
This.
Tula/Wolf is rarely sealed at the case neck, usually at just the primer.
The water will work its way in and fuck the powder.
F ammo
Next time if you're hording ammo, make sure you have water tight containers to seal them in.
>>35122901
this is why I always laugh at the fucks with piles of brown boxes
