Pff, that's stupid. If that were true we'd see some obviously absurd decisions. Something like Canada forsaking the f-35 program for a bunch of decommissioned Australian hornets for example, but thank God we don't live in such a silly world as that.

hello all mkae decent money have no wife no kids, dont really spend that much on much expect guns
so here is the issue I like the SCAR 17S but the price is kind of turning me off, for 2/3 of that I can buy a PTR and dress it up the way I want with collapsible stock and box of 36 mags. the problem is the SCAR 17S not only that price but the fact they seem to come in in batches and by the time i save the money one may not be available

EF2k: Air to air = great. Air to ground = meh.
Rafale: Air to air = meh. Air to ground = great, but limited choice of munitions.

Another point worth mentioning is that a few lucky nations will be getting both EF2k and F35. The combination of these two weapon systems will likely be the 2nd most capable in the air to air realm in the foreseeable future, behind only F22 + F35.

Not from next year. Right now it's only got Paveways, but it'll have Brimstone and Storm Shadow by then, Taurus soon after too and MARTE-ER is on the way. Spear Cap 3 is coming about as well and has already fired.

NSM is on the long term as well.

It took a while, and it's still getting there, but its A2G ability is really coming into its own now from 2018 onwards.
