Hey /k/
What's the easiest, safest and legal way to sell a gun?
I want to sell a couple pistols that's been collecting dust for a few years
I was thinking maybe I could trade in at the lgs and maybe they'd give me a little extra if I bought a new gun then and there.

sure if you want to be offered 1/2-2/3rds of what they'll sell it for.
OTOH you could sell it for what it's actually worth on the internet.

That's what I usually do because I don't feel like doing with the fuckery that always comes with dealing with strangers but you're getting a lot less value for your trades when you do it that way.

Yeah. I know that I'll definitely won't be maximizing money if I trade it in. But these things haven't seen the light of day for years except for when I re lubed them every 6 months.
But I really want hassle free and shit.

Where do you live? I'll buy one from you.

Armslist. If you want to avoid faggots and niggers, tell them to meet you outside a police station.

Columbus Ohio. But honestly I don't think I wanna do private deals like that

Depending on your state, private sales aren't bad. most ffls will have no problem with you meeting the buyer in their store.
I live in commiefornia and even ive bought and sold guns face to face.

>sell on internet
>box up and ship to buyer's FFL
I'm not seeing where the hassle comes in.

gun store/pawn shop
if you want actual money you'll need to sell privately
Yeah. I think I'll probably just trade it in.
There's a bunch of gun shops here so maybe I'll go call in and ask for some rough numbers and see who'll give me the best deal.
Thinking of putting what ever I get out of them towards a P226 Legion.
