It's bullshit. Certainly bullshit for 99.999% of owners. You can have a highly popular product in the hands of thousands of happy owners and used on the battlefield for several years and become the de facto standard and overnight become dog shit and suddenly not work for any of those owners because a flaw was discovered that presented itself under certain rare circumstances. They jump all over shit just because a military adopted it and don't take into account all the reasons it was adopted that doesn't apply to private owners. And it blows up in their faces when it turns out the product is actually unsafe.

It's also thinking that buying better (more expensive) equipment will make up for a lack in skill. It's thinking $1000 in optics is totally going to outdo a shooter that's had $1000 of ammo through his gun.

It's bananas I tell you.

Ok I just looked it up, that reticle is crap, especially for ~$100 more than a PA prism. Just get a PA. Whatever advantage the lucid might have in glass quality is nullified by the domination of the ACSS reticle. It's simply the best reticle, period.

ACSS is pretty much useless at 1x, I have a 4x ACSS and the reticle is still tiny at that magnification. If you read the reviews of the ACSS red dots, you'll find a lot of people saying that it's pretty much pointless without a magnifier.

If you want ACSS at 1x, I would get one of the PA variable power scopes.

What's a good rail cover for the top rail on my handguard? I tend to wrap my thumb just over the rail and my new handguard's top rails are sharp as fuck. I use gloves most of the time but would be nice to have a small bit of cover to keep them from getting cut up and snagging.

I'd beg to differ. It's passable stuff for mediocre use, but their soft gear is unremarkable at best. Their mag pouches are indistinguishable from Condor. Their overpriced pack uses lesser material, is designed by retards and has worse stitching than a pack I got for $75 from GGG.
