What Cryptids are you hunting /x/? With what and where?
Bigfoots, Shunka-waka, and skinwalkers in Montana with a fine Yugo SKS for me, spotting thunderbirds too.
Been on several excursions into Allegheny National Forest (northwest PA) the past 2 years, trying to track down Quetzalcoatlus. Big bird means birdshot.
I've had a few close calls so far but I'm still in one piece. Mostly taunting. I know he's a big winged wuss at heart. Haven't gotten a clean shot yet.

Any special load? I'm thinking about getting some silver 7.62, just in case.
Only thing close to that in Montana is tweakers, but they're pretty easy to find, actually. You can usually hear them muttering about "Anaconda copper fucked us over" if you listen to the wind.
>>35111894
What towns are the tweakers in?
Im hunting the illusive Fire-bird in the Chiricahua mountains of AZ
>>35111919
All of them.
Look in downtown Great Falls, for starters.
>>35112063
Bozeman?
>>35111985
In also in AZ care to explain?
As a montanafag, what the fuck is a Shunka-waka? Also, I'd be more concerned about wildfires then any cryptid right now.
>>35112119
How bad is the fires really? I've read some reports but I don't know what to believe

You're gonna need a bigger gun
>>35112152
I'm up in Lincoln county, last Saturday one of the fires surged, took out at least 11 residences, some 40 outbuildings. They're expecting more evacuations this weekend, what with the weather causing flare ups.
Pic related is about how it's been smokewise the last two weeks.
>>35112180
I'm by tombstone ill have to check this out
>>35112183
...a fat dog?
>>35112193
God damn anon I wish you good luck, hopefully the fire doesn't harm you or your property.
>>35112219
fires and floods are good
they put nutrients back into the soil
>>35112219
I'll be fine, I'm a good distance from the fires, plenty of barriers, no family at risk either. Thanks for the concern though.
>>35112228
I don't know man, these fires have been burning pretty damn hot, they may have killed the top soil. There should've been more controlled burns over the years, but the county/state just kinda let a whole bunch of dead growth accumulate, now people have lost homes. Its frustrating, to say the least.
>>35111868
cmon man, obviously dragon's breath rounds.
>>35112180
I've lived in the Tombstone area for quite a few years now, and been tracking that bastard for a good portion of those years. Found a nest once, but I've never gotten to introduce the critter himself to the ol' 1887. Best of luck, boys!
>>35112271
Looks like i'm in this for while then. Anyone know about any other AZ cryptids?
>>35112271
Dang thang flew to coup to the Chiricahua mountains. Itelyah!
Found a few mexican corpse bones picked apart...Its har some whar!
>>35112317
An email was sent by the department to all rangers on December 30 2013, detailing the extraordinary encounter. The email said: "David received a call this morning at the front desk from a male caller reporting the construction of a secret government installation upstream from the Salt River Canyon past Pinal Creek (Upstream from Roosevelt Lake).
"Aliens and at least one detached head are involved. Caller claims to have seen construction cranes coming out the side of the cliffs, miniature stealth planes and UFOs, aliens and people working together at the site, aliens eating people. He found a severed head and claims to have pictures of some of this stuff.
"Caller reported that he is 60, not crazy and doesn't do drugs. He said he had already called the 'office at the lake', but he didn't know if those people were turning the other cheek or maybe those people have been paid off."
>>35112185
Waiting till I can get a big horn model 89 before I go hunting spoopy things. I figure a 500SW out of a 16 inch barrel with some 700 grain bullets should be able to take down anything that can be felled with a bullet plus I just love big bore lever guns.
>>35112340
This is interesting ill have to check that out too
>>35112340
Oh fuck that's that one podcast isn't it? can't remember the name for the life of me.

>>35112462
Goodrich A/Ts are probably the most overrated tire of all time. They're pretty garbage
>>35112543

>>35112551
Im down. Winter is better for that area though.
>>35112592
Worked pretty well so far. Came with my truck.
>>35112523
Do it faggot
Get eaten by a Giant Pray Mantis!
>>35112614
Raid the CIA base? its a yes from me
>>35112262
That's the thing though, for a long time the policy has just been "all fires are bad" so they just try to put them out even though that's just the natural order of things.
The only reason it's so bad now is just because there's so much shit that we've stopped from burning over the years.
South Eastern PA reporting in
Hoping to get some friends together and track down some of the supposed dogmen/werewolves a few counties over, or a particularly violent breed or tribe of bigfoot out in western PA

>>35112747
I like the way you think
>>35112740
I'm in center city, we already have enough problems to worry about.
>>35112614
I've seen a lot of weird shit, living in AZ. On a couple of occasions near the Chiricahua mountains, saw some kind of large animal walking beside the road at night. Not like anything that lives around here, body-shape wise. Very strange.
Also tons of lights in the sky, both in AZ and NM. I s'pose that's everywhere though.
Probably the weirdest and most unbelievable was seeing a goat that looked legitimately chupacabra'd. It fits the whole stereotype so perfectly that it seems like a meme, but the thing was legitimately dead and mostly dried up, except for the throat, which was all tore up and bloody. Maybe just coyotes or something, but it fit the chupacabra legend meme perfectly.
>>35112804
Yeah AZ still has some very remote areas too. The mystery of this place enthralls me. I love exploring areas. Mines are common and fun too.
>>35112838
Also pretty dangerous be careful anon
>>35112838
In all my years of living in AZ, I've never liked the climate, but there are some neat places tucked away in the woods. Lots of interesting cryptid type shenanigans, too. Sometime soon I've gotta go do some recon on a missile silo near Cochise Stronghold that a buddy of mine was talking about.
>>35112838

>>35112551
I'm fucking down for this.
>>35112849
Always.
>>35112864

>>35112781
I believe you. Ive been thru most major cities in PA, including the capital, and its pretty rough at nighttime. Stay safe anon

Winter here is the best.
>>35112966
Just kidding, mine is off of forest rd 300/rim rd looking down on pine. I was close though. I love it up there. I plan on getting a piece of property in strawberry one day, even if it's just a vacant lot.
>>35112966
I second that winter is best here
>>35113017
just go back to Illannoy
>>35113017
Ah i know that spot too. Same here with the property. I just want land i can sit on and build a house/cabin eventully. Stawberry is wonderful.
>>35113091
I already own an acre east of punkin center, but it's not far enough North. It's a cool little bug out spot, but it's still too hot during summer. Strawberry is just mild enough year round to be perfect. Not super cold during winter, 80s during summer.
>>35113111
A very funny joke the fellow anon made regarding illinois
>>35111820
>Close calls
Tell the story
