From what I've seen they are not terrible guns, just big, bulky and shitty ass trigger. Kind of like a Hi Point but twice as much.

Save another 100 dollars and get a Ruger American. They are pretty much identical in appearance and actually have a good trigger

No. The Ruger American is just as shitty as the RP9. Don't spend another $100 on it.

For $400 you can get any multitude of good used guns that will last forever and be cheaper to own in the long run. Glock 17/19, S&W M&P, HK VP9, etc.

They're huge, shoot super softly, the slide release is righty-only, and the trigger has a really smooth rolling break.

I actually kind of liked the one I handled. Shot about 200 rounds or so.

My store actually sold an RP9 last week. It made me sad and I asked the dude who sold it what the fuck was he thinking selling that to a customer. The customer really wanted it.
