Literally all you need in a pouch is tourniquets. They solve literally all medical issues.
>>
>>35098326
What about snacks?

Snacks>Tourniquet
>>
>>35098326
same same frags
>>
>>35098332
Just eat the tourniquet if you're hungry. If someone has a blood sugar emergency (hyper or hypo), apply a tourniquet around their foot.
>>
>>35098391
if someone's airway is compromised put the TQ around their neck
>>
>>35098391
wow what revelation. Just... EAT THE TOURNIQUET

Has anyone had any experience with these nade pouches before? They're designed for LEO use in particular

They're great. I've used them many times before at many an airsoft game.
>>

Just put your ak mags in the dump pouch anyway

I carry an extra mag in mine. Seeing someone with a fucked up head or torso wound makes. me cringe so I'd rather help us both out and go ahead and put them down. also snacks

I just made the switch from an sk primary to an ar dig brace 10" pistol

Lightweight
Lightweight everywhere

From the gun to the ammunition to the magazines

It is so much more comfy and cute

I commute to work in a million person city area so I choose the at for mobility and shoot and scoot

also much lighter to strap a oil filter solvent trap onto the end

Easy peasy dindu lemon squeeze
>>
>>35098754
Why not fill it with tourniquets? You could help the poor man by applying a tourniquet to his head or torso wound.

Not my fault nobody makes holsters for the HK45C besides folks who have to custom make them like OTG. I'm still buttfurious about not having an incog holster for it.

Question that hopefully you gentlemen may have an idea about.

Say I really want to use the Safariland QLS system on my battle belt for whatever reason. Cool no problem. There are holsters for my 2 most used handguns that work great with QLS.

But say I have a 3rd or 4th handgun I might want to throw on there for whatever reason. And I happened to choose a G-Code holster.

Is there any way to get a QLS fork on a RTI holster without it being flimsy as fuck? If not, then it's not really a big deal, ultimately it probably wouldn't be too big of a deal to switch my Safariland hanger for a G-Code hanger. I was just curious.

Just found an adapter that allows me to use Safariland holsters with the G-Code RTI system.

So I still get the holsters I want, it's just on the RTI hanger instead of the QLS hanger.

No big deal. I asked a question before doing the proper research. Thanks for putting up with my idiocy.

TR24 with the German reticle.

It's a good optic, fairly light compared to most low power variables below the $1000 mark. Better than the original 1.25-4x ones they made.

If I was buying right now I would buy Vortex's Viper Gen II 1-6x without a bit of hesitation. Without a doubt the best bang for buck in the low power variable market right now. A taint hair away from being a Razor HD 1-6x at half the cost.

Hello there! You must be new to rigger's belts. It's okay, I'll be your guide today.

That's not a waist size, that's an OAL, or overall length. The three main sizes are 40, 46, and 53.

46 corresponds to a waist size of somewhere between 34 to 40 inches.

>>35109521
Small. Pretty useful for a low profile quick attachment to a belt or pack, but it's a struggle to get a rounded out kit in it and even then you are using the smallest compression bandage and chest seals known to man.

Great to have for competition or class/course stuff though in case someone goes full retard and NDs into someone.

They are actually pretty sexy, not homosex. It looks like that 30 rounder protrudes quite a bit. They have more applications such as vehicle use and home defense for lower profile. If 30 rounds make a difference over 20 rounds in a fighting situation then i should be running away while firing. But I'm just talking about your gun bag because it looks like it would create somewhat of a profile.

Anybody who runs a soft pistol holster on a chest rig want to chime in?

I bought an LBT 6099Z combo drop leg / molle holster but god damn is it bulky as hell. I'm just running an LBT 9019 RLCS harness (split front chest rig) so I don't have a shitload of real estate to work with.

I run a G19 with an Inforce APL weapon light so hard holsters aren't gonna cut it.

I tried stuffing it in a plain old USGI double M4 mag pouch and it seemed to work alright but you lose a lot of retention and any transition is going to involve ripping the velcro open or leaving the top tucked open.

Any bright ideas or other brands to look at?

>Safariland has APL compatible holsters

I looked and they do list two holsters compatible, but neither is one that you could mount on PALS webbing.

What I'm trying to do is run a pistol holster on the right hand side of pic related. Light duty rig, no belt.

The LBT 6099z holster looked like exactly what I wanted, but it was just too damn bulky, it hung off the bottom by a good 3-4 inches and if you crouched the molle straps would want to try to pop the snaps off. And that was me with an otherwise empty loadout calmly crouching down and stretching to feel for interference.

I mean, is it silly to go spend money on a Surefire X300 to get better holster compatibility and throw it in a Safariland 6354?
>>
>>35113116
I haven't even shot the bitch yet. Taking it out for high volume shenanigans sunday. They are moderately more finicky than metal mags just messing around with it. Nothing that has caused any concern yet. They make gen 2s or 3s with metal if thats your hang up.
>>
>>35113463

>I mean, is it silly to go spend money on a Surefire X300 to get better holster compatibility and throw it in a Safariland 6354?

I'm gonna go ahead and answer my own question here after doing some more reading/youtubing and say yeah, because it looks like far cheaper (but custom) Kydex holsters can be mounted onto a safariland QLS in the molle slots.

I'm not so much annoyed that I spent $35 on a big ass universal soft holster that's going to be relegated to my "gear bin", but to wait for a custom Kydex, even at $65 or so, would feel like a bit of a ballbuster if it's not quite what I'm looking for either.

it was alright but not amazing, the stitching was just okish, and while the design was smart, it could easily be made much better, and doing it over I wouldnt pay more than $120 for it

at its MSRP there are multiple better options

Hmmm, LBT chest rig anon here, I'm actually on the fence between the gunclip and just getting a T Rex Ragnarok and a safariland molle adapter. Clearly slumming it with an M4 pouch or a Condor holster isn't gonna cut it for me. I practiced draws out of the nicest M4 pouch I have with no seams on the inside and it was still catching on the elastic. I'd be willing to bet the condor has exposed seams on the inside so you'd have to be on crack to want to use that as a holster.

Gunclip is like $50, the Ragnarok is $65 plus a $30 adapter so call it about $100

Ragnarok's draw would be way faster, and I don't plan on running a can on this G19. On the other hand, the motion I would make during draw from a chest rig suits the gunclip way better- unclip it, rock it out and push forward with the weapon vs up and out then forwards with a Kydex.

It's a tough one...

I have wanted to get a plate carrier for years. Every time I get some money saved up some BS comes up. I don't mind the weight of steel. This is just for larping faggotry. I have money to grab a super budget package of BAM or CATI lvl 3. Anyone have any experience with either?
>>
>>35119498

Why not get a chest rig then? It's less expensive and you're not spending pointless money on a plate you don't actually need...
>>

>>35120364

>>
>>35119973
12 mags means you're lugging around 9 pounds just in unloaded magazines alone. Roughly 24 pounds in loaded mags. You can shave it down closer to 20 pounds using drums.

Das a lot of weight for a basic LBE my man. Just put 4-6 mags in the LBE and load the rest of your shits up in a pack with easy access if you're determined to haul that much around.

Heh yeah you guys are right, I'm a little over excited about my new AK and didn't consider the silliness of carrying that much at once. I could probably lug a 3 mag rom carrier on an Amish belt or other similar super strong CCDW belt yeah?
>>
>>35121367
When I put together a shooter belt, I try to max it out at about 5 pounds hanging off of it. Any more than that and it's going to sag and suck; it needs to be given suspenders and turned into an LBE at that point. 3 mags on a belt is 6 pounds, and that is without whatever else you are sticking on there.

At this point, there are two viable options. I prefer the first, but either will work. The first is to keep your belt acting as a shooter belt and put one AK mag on it, max. Add your pistol and whatever else to it. Get a chest rig and single stack your AK mags across the front. That's 3 or 4 AK mags in the chest rig. Take the rest of your mags and put them in a pack.

Second option is to go for LBE (ALICE, SMERSH, etc, etc) and put say 6 mags max on it, plus your other tacticool bullshit. Then put the rest in a pack.
>>
>>35121469
Gotcha. I'll probably try and find a SMERSH in a few weeks or months then. You think like a Hank's belt would work with a 3 mag? I know those are supposed to be badass super stiff CCW belts and I need a new belt in that vein anyway
>>
>>35121489
It's less about the stiffness of the belt and more about carrying a lot of weight on a belt without distributing it. It is very cumbersome.

The light shooter belt and chest rig setup is good because it is modular. You can scale up from just wearing a belt to being full up; you don't have to wear your full load when you really just want a mag and pistol. With an LBE you are looking at having to either wear all your gear or none of it.

Quite a few PCs don't have those, a drag handle is not really very necessary. You're mostly better off grabbing the shoulder straps when dragging someone. No matter how strongly a drag handle is stitched they usually don't take too well to dragging a grown man with tons of gear on him.

I found the closest real world matches to the game, but I don't know what kind of vest might be good, the blackhawk ballistic float vest for water operations looks matching, but stupid airshit vests are more similar in style, also it looks like a lot of blackhawk inspo was used in the game

US Summer weight flight suit would be better.
DH-132B CVC helmet would provide the most protection out of all the options.

This setup would suck for prolonged use, especially in hot/humid environments. The rebreather is totally unnecessary and if you don't setup your drop leg/rappelling harness, you'll be severely impeding your mobility.
VBSS teams used to (and still kind of do) run kits like this.

>>
>>35125196

i guess it might be effective if you needed to operate in a burning building... fire retardent clothing and fire fighting oxygen supply, but the visibility in SCBAs sucks for the most part, and you only get about 45 minutes of air if you breathe slowly, so the tank is just more weight to carry around

also what is the best material to make a micro plate carrier out of , i was thinking either double stitched 1000-1200D nylon or canvas or whatever the waxed stuff that sea bags are made out of, I want to to be black/grey for urban environments and molle it up though
>>
>>35125196
that vest actually looks pretty close, what is it do you know?
>>
>>35125134

those tanks only last you about a half hour at best and its not fun breathing room air out of those masks. maybe if you knew you were going to be using a shit ton of tear gas it would make sense but its definitely not helpful in most situations.

it does look cool tho and you can get used packs/regulators for cheap on ebay.
