is this some sort of civil unrest, or just playing dressup?

An AR, let alone a nice one, wouldn't be very Max.

Those double trigger, lever break S×S are to awesome, tax stamps take forever sadly

Rat bikes are Mad Max. Everything in the pic looks too nice and clean.
>>
>>35091295
I prefer a bike I can ride
>>
>>35091477
There's nothing particularly unrideable about that bike though. Handlebars are a bit low, but so are a lot of cafe racers.
>>
>>35091546
Cafe racers are shit to ride.
>>
>>35089840
What is that, a 250 ninja scrambler?
>>
>>35091295
Is that an inline four couple to a transaxle on a bike?

I love it.
>>
>>35091295
This reminds me the hues made a bike with the beetle engine, gearbox with reverse and all. They simply welded one side of it and connected the other via chain.
>>
Would a raging judge .410 "3 be a good substitute for a SxS?
>>
>>35091561
This desu famalamadingdong. I've never known anyone that built or bought a cafe racer that enjoyed riding it regularly. It's a fashionable chair that you put in the corner and never sit in.
>>
>>35092436
The only people who ride them are people who dont actually ride for more than 5 miles

Try a new Thruxton 1200R. Super comfy, only mildly sporty in the torso (for me, at 6'1"), easy leg position. Classic cafe racer looks, stonkin engine, supersport class suspension and brakes--and I swear I could friggin tour on the thing.

I'd own it, but I'm allergic to skinny jeans.
>>
>>35092913
I can speak with some authority, the sport bikes that are super fast are really great on a track but suck to ride around town. If you are good on a dirt bike then a super motard is fun on the street. Honda standards are widely considered the best all around handling bikes. My personal "perfect handling" bike is a 1985 cm400

The Honda CB series.

Can a Harley go off road?
>>
>>35095393
Not really.

Harleys are garbage anyway, no reason to own one unless you're a ronery middle aged man with a beer gut, awful beard, and leather obsession.
>>
>>35095393
models from before 1950, yes, and with good results
any sort of motorized wheelchair, no. the things disintegrate by just rolling along on the highway...

No, you can't.
>>
What's a reliable beginners bike? I don't need something fancy, just practice.
>>
>>35096007
Kawasaki or Yamaha, something in the 250 to 400cc range.

They have a number of bikes that were basically unchanged design-wise from the mid- or late-80s until the early 00s.

Given the longevity, there's shitloads of cheap ones out there, shitloads of parts, and libraries of information.

They're also cheap to run, ~15L of fuel will last like 400km or more. 250cc is enough to be able to handle most highway speeds easily enough, as long as it's not too steep.

I'd also recommend going to a sports store and getting some little plastic, flexible field cones/markers. I used to go to car parks in business estates at night and use them to practice things like sudden braking (~80km/hr stops), swerving, doing really tight cornering and slow-speed handling shit. Got some strange drive-bys from police and security, but they were pretty quick to realise what I was doing, and it was in a nonresidential area.
>>
>>35095515
I had a 94 Fireblade.
Sweet.
>>
>tfw tomorrow I'll be getting my "new" bike
>1956 650cc Ural with a sidecar

nothing screams "80's suburban warrior" louder than one of those. I can see some skinny white guy wearing cut off shorts, a wife beater and one of those old helmets that is either white, or that day glow orange with the metal flake
>>
I have a 2016 Honda Crf 250l dual sport. Took the shitty red and white plastic off and replaced it with a smoke grey colored set. Took off the awful tail extension with the license plate on it. Took the baffle out of the stock exhaust. Lots more work to do to it but it's a great shtf bike. Don't have a recent pic so have an old one.

That's the entire point of them.
>>
>>35096476
Thats not why cafe racers originated
>>
>>35089998
in the real apocalypse everyone would be wearing jeans, timberlands, hoodies and carrying ARs
>>
>>35096484
That's exactly why. Hip euros wanted to look like pro racers while they sipped espresso and ate croissants so they tricked out their cheap small displacement bikes.
>>
>>35092436
>I've never known anyone that built or bought a cafe racer that enjoyed riding it regularly.

That's because backswept bars is a poor ergonomic choice.
