Not OP here, I also want an FAL, but I don't know anything about them. I have access to cheap PTR 91 rifles, and I have heard good things about them, but when I held one it felt like a cheap, plastic toy. Instant turn off. Was I too quick to judge? I have never shot one

Get an account on the files and buy one of theirs. If I wasn't building my own from a kit, that's what I would do. Someone like gunplumber can refinish a rifle better than new, if that's what you want. But you can also find some authentic, very very nice originals if you wait long enough.

op here, one of the few percs of being a eurofag is having access to FALs, Stg58s, L1a1s not in lego version which I'd rather not delve into but in fully assembled ex ordinance form
