Their shindig the past while is how they're a strong independent gun show that don't need no jewtube money.

Now they joined a corporate interest, supposedly for no real reason. This opens the door to shilling products and various agendas, and they obviously get some benefits that usually include money.

So we get advertising about new gun products and they get money. Where is the downside?

The point is that they were shitting on a product they never even used, and used something completely different in place of the shockwave and prove that the product it's bad.

If they actually had a shockwave and ran the drills, that would be fine.
>>
>>35077364
>guys look at these great products from VARUSTELEKA™ that we are going to make 15 videos about
That's just not true. They did a series of videos about their trip to Finland, showcased a few specific items, but they don't shill for the brand because it's just a surplus store with only a handful of items that they make themselves. There is nothing to shill about except the fact that it was a pretty good surplus store (it's gone downhill).

>Totally not getting money from the youtube channel network in which we are included.
That's not how that works. Youtube networks skim off a percentage of the income of ads a channel receives before the channel owner receives the funds.
Basically youtube networks are a relic of the way that youtube used to be setup that basically forced people to join in order to effectively monetize their content.

The money never flows from network to channel, only channel to network.
Also, no monetization, no money flow. This is of no importance.

>>35077100
See above.
>>
>>35077790
A Shockwave is just a pistol grip shotgun, its really not all that different.

>>35077790
>used something completely different in place of the shockwave

The ONLY substantive difference between the Shockwave and the Mossberg pistol grip pump that they tested was the shape of the grip. Furthermore, the exact reasons why the pistol grip pump performed poorly--it doesn't have a stock, doesn't allow you to mitigate recoil by shouldering it, and doesn't permit you to aim it traditionally when using defense loads due to recoil, all apply to the Shockwave as well, by virtue of the Shockwave being a pistol grip pump design.

Karl and his horse teeth is ok.
>>
>>35077967
I honestly suspect that all of the threads that are basically "look at this new, disagreeable thing that Karl said/did" are actually Karl's reverse astroturfing. They all seem to follow the same format, are impeccably timed to promote that there is a new InRange video, and Karl himself is probably aware that nothing draws people into a thread on the internet like an OP that shits on something. It seems like the kind of scummy thing he would do.
>>
>>35078022
Wait is this a double bluff?
Next level 4d chess right here.
>>
>>35077925
It changes the way it points and aims, as well as it having a strap on the forearm and being lighter due to the shorter barrel. Will this make as a substantial difference as a stock, probably not, but its a difference in handling characteristics that shouldn't just be ignored if you are specifically trying to prove that it's bad.

>>35077951

>Joins youtube network for merchandising
>Actively complains that the network isn't good for anything else
>Not getting any monetization cash from said network

You think someone as pedantic as Karl would disclose this information if there was some shady shit going down?

They didn't have to tell anyone they joined it, why lie about it?
>>
>>35078168
You are honestly paying too much attention to what are ultimately superficial changes made for the sake of marketing. Let me present the problem with your argument by using a similar example with a different gun. If you take a Beretta 92FS, shorten its barrel by an inch, give it a rail slot, bevel its magazine well, and checker the frontstrap of the grip, is it a different than what it was before? Yes, absolutely. Is it a different gun than it was before in real terms, though? No. Its action/mechanisms of operation haven't changed, its mechanical accuracy is the same, its practical accuracy is the same in the context of everything other than bullseye shooting at long distance, and its intended purpose is also mostly the same, because a 92 Compact with Rail is ultimately still a large, duty sized pistol that does not lend itself well to concealed carry. This is all that the situation between the Shockwave and any other Mossberg pistol grip pump shotgun amounts to: they are different from each other in a literal sense, but not actually different in real terms.

edit: forgot to include your post number in the reply
>>
>>35078413

The different grip angle and strap changes how the shooter interacts with the gun, that can't just be written off like in their test. Glocks and 1911's (or insert any other regular grip angle pistol here) are functionally the same for the most part, but the grip angle can affect how the shooter preforms depending on their preference.

The regular cruisers/other pistol grip shotguns have a lot more vertical grip, the shockwave is a lost less steep which affects handling and where the recoil is directed. If you push forward on into the strap while shooting it helps a bit.

I don't think it is a big difference, but it effects handling, and since they were trying to refute the claim by the mossberg rep who was talking about the shockwave, they should've used a shockwave or at least that style of grip.

Every video covers different aspects in detail, if you don't like that content then don't watch it.

Personally I liked all the manufacturing videos since it's pretty in depth about the engineering of barrels. The video today was more about their WWSD project which was less interesting to me.
>>
>>35087436
>if you don't like that content then don't watch it

It'd be pretty hard to criticize content without watching it. I watch the videos, but it's like the 6th time I'm hearing that "modern barrel manufacturing technology allows for thinner barrels which don't change POI when heated up [plug Faxon]".
How about Faxon giving a tour and showing us what the magic behind this modern manufacturing is? Or how carbon fiber hand guards are made vs aluminum?

>>35087470
I would agree with most of what you said to be honest. Today when I saw "WWSD" and "barrel" I knew they would be sperging out about "thinner barrels which don't change POI when heated up" for the Nth time before I watched it though.

I want to disagree because of the way you framed your argument. But you've got a good point
>Ian is the palatable, casual friendly, one. The pleibian choice. He's not too intimidating to the lay person.
He's very wary to avoid controversy. He's very reserved. He confines his sense of humor. And during interviews and q&a's he sometimes seems out of his element, like he daydreamed for a bit and now doesn't know whats going on so he's just silent. Karl always has pertinent valid questions during interviews. Karl gives complete relevant answers during q&a where Ian will give a one word answer and say "cuz it's good".Karl thouroughly addresses practically every issue a viewer could have when he tests something and many they wouldn't think of. He's not afraid to speak his mind, he will point out clever stuff the Nazis did instead of pretend they did everything wrong just because it's PC to pretend the Nazis were bad at everything. And he has a sense of humor that he's not afraid to exhibit.(Arizona landmark: exploded meth lab, and Ian and Karl body pillows is funny) Also anybody who has ever tried to shoot something they're aiming at has to respect Karl's 2 gun ACM skills. He's a wizard and would probably put John wick to shame. at least he could stomp keanu Reaves no problem. So what if he's pink and antisemitic and listens to ridiculous music? I've yet to see any of his solo stuff I don't like. And besides Ian's French thing is getting weird dude.

Less and less surplus stuff.
More miltec shit, and more of their own stuff which is kind of pricey.

just think that a lot of kids are mindlessly trawling through gun jesus videos when left unsupervised and learning about drop sears and push pins and telescopic bolts

Yeah, but that's been going on for years.

Its multiplied in intensity. And recent videos have revealed he's been pretty obsessed the whole time.

He Fucking bought a chautchaut that should be evidence alone

Thats clever.

Could have the first gun company with gun sweatshop that employs child labor. The profits would be great. The quality can't be lower then any product taurus farts onto the market. Sickly kids could be fed into the smelter to increase carbon. Their little fingers can arrange small parts better. Kids that get older get funneled into the pmc division to die in some African Ebola country conflict over guano caves.

>>35087222 >“relaxed more”
What are you dense? Do you even know Karl?
You know the guy who drones on and on with a hot red face like James Yeager? The same guy who crosses his arms, and legs likes he’s trying to protect himself? If anything he’s the opposite of relaxed. He’s a tense, outspoken, opinionated, infosec nerd. He also likes interrupting, and summarizing what Ian just said in his own terms and it’s lulzy to watch.

Yeah....nah he was worse. That's probably about as relaxed as that guy gets. Wouldn't you be nervous too if you were pink, living in Arizona (aka the sun), and had a botched Hitler youth cut?

He's probably done so much 2gun ACM whenever He's in a room with people he thinks about the quickest way to neutralize all targets. And then has to fight with himself not to do it until he leaves.

No shit he was worse. He looked like a plump tomato. Sun ain’t bad. Karl just spent way too much time competitive shooting in miserable heat. By the way my previous post >>35086431 showed he had the same haircut almost 2 years ago. It’s not “botched”. It’s deliberate.
“He’s probably done so much 2gun ACM whenever he’s in a room with people he thinks about the quickest way to neutralize all targets. Then has to fight with himself not to do it until he leaves.”
That’s what a boring office job will do to you. Hard to get inspired with a job like that (his own words). That’s why he takes guns too seriously and has to reassure himself that he’s not a “fun extinguisher”.

You're fucking fired Mark. Security will escort you out. You've got 12 ...No 11 minutes to clean out your desk before security comes. Don't even LOOK at the supply closet on the way back to your desk. I swear to God if there's so much as a paperclip missing you'll be hit with so many lawsuits the stack will be thicker than the A through Z encyclopedia set. Adios cabron......if this isn't mark, tell mark.

Everybody knows you can't run a productive sweatshop with damaged kids. You can kidnap but no molest. Business basics. Ever seen "wall street"?

I was going with Big Boss, the child soldier PMC guy from MGS, but ok

>>35089101
This in not mark. Mark had shitty taste in video games. He played dance dance revolution with his roomate on Saturday nights. What the fuck kind of weirdo 33 year old man does that shit? Can you see why I fired him?

Shit. That thing on his head is deliberate? You know there's an old wives tale in the southwest that too much time in the hot sun can make you go a bit crazy. If anybody has spent to much time in the sun it's that pink kraut lover....he may be a psycho future anarcho terrorist But I still like him .would I let him watch my kids?if they spill juice in my truck one more time, maybe. I digress, Karl still churns out good content that imbues me with gun learnins and that's all I want from him.he can domestically abuse Ian or imagine shooting to death everyone around him all the time, I don't care as long as he makes good content.
>>
>>35089234
I don’t know where the whole kraut lover, wehraboo, kkkarl, “anti semitic” shit came from but Karl’s been vocal about scolding Nazi’s like Josef Mengele. Just because he’s got a lot of Mausers doesn’t mean he loves Nazis. I’m pretty sure Karl’s not an anarchist. He seems like the type that says he’s against authority like how he talked about 3 types of power- government, church, and corporations yet doesn’t fight against it. Also muh hacker’s manifesto, and how everything is a hack.
>>
>>35089567
He has admitted to having an affection for German gear. And its pretty self evident. He likes the guns, the gear, the language. I've nearly exhausted YouTube of in range and forgotten weapons content. Karl loves German stuff. The anti semite stuff is that taken to hyperbole same with KKKarl. He's definitely not racist or anti semite. He likes German engineering and design choices which have nothing to do with racism. No engineer said "how can I design this rifle to say 'fuck jews'?". The anarcho thing is me taking his anti- old media , hacker, mentality to hyperbole. Hyperbole is funny. Karl may have some slightly strange things going on with him but really no stranger than a lot of accomplished people. Accomplishement takes drive bordering on madness and obsession and so people we idolize sometimes have weird quirks. Karl's no different. One thing Karl is that I've noticed through it all is: Karl is hurt. Karl hurts bad about something and he needs constant activity to keep it at bay.
>>
>>35077364
That's the one thing that's bothered me about inrange, just totally abandoning the long range series.

But hey, not like there aren't a plethora of other long range tutorials on jewtube right?
