What's the best CCW I can get for 350 dollars or less?
>>35070809
Shields are decent.
Bersa is a good choice.. Like my BP9CC a lot, then add $50 for a holster. Smith and Wesson M&P maybe
>>35070809
PT 111-g2 is exceptionally good for the price. It's the one native design taurus didn't fuck up. Good fucking luck finding one, nobody can keep them in stock. Do not buy a gen 1. G2 or bust.
Cheap, reliable, shoots well, good capacity, good sights.
If you need a pocket gun. look for an LCP 2. I got mine for 300 on sale, and that was at the overpriced LGS.
Bersa is... tolerable. Large for what it does, and the sights on the CC model are awful.
That said, it shoots great, and odds are you'll be point shooting anyway. Are you ok with a relatively limited capacity? Are you willing to sacrifice comfort and a a little concealability for easier recoil control?
Are you comfortable with DA/SA and slide safety?
It's a gun you either love or hate. Good to have around for women, though.
I had a Taurus m85 that was pretty solid. 5 round cylinder .38 special +p. Easy to get all 5 rounds on target at 50+ yards. For that 350 you can get the gun, holster, and a couple boxes of ammo.
>>35070809
concealed carry is for secret service and gang bangers
>>35071312
I secretly serviced you sister, then gang banged your mom.
I got my LCP2 for $280 out the door. If you think you can do better than that for the money I'm all ears.
>>35070809
Ruger LCP or LC9, a Shield is fine, Bersa Thunders are a little heavy, but if you like it, go for it. You're also in the range for used Smith J-Frames, used Kahr CW9.
Most important thing you can do is practice with your CCW pistol of choice.
>>35070846
How do you like the trigger and do you carry with one in the chamber? I liked the bp9 and almost got one but the lack of safety and manufacturer recommendation to not carry chambered turned me off it.
>fullsized
Taurus pt92, sd9ve, Shield
>compact
Glock 26/43, shield compact, ppqm2
>pocket gun
Kahr pm9, glock 42, Ruger lcp 2/custom
>>35071497
Has tons of safety features on it locks and such.. why couldn't they just add a safety. The trigger is darn easy to squeeze with your finger tip and it likes federal 9mm. Carry it chambered, didn't know about that. the slide is easy to chamber a round. It's a good gun. Comes with 2 steel mags. Yeah though the trigger pull is great
>>35071525
>Shield
>full size
I think you're thinking of the M&P. Also the Glock 43 is just marginally bigger than the 42.
>>35071770
It's big enough to make it not a good pocket gun.
Just get a hi-point, super reliable.
>>35070809
a TT pistol

bersa & taurus are gambles based on your luck will you get a working gun, their manufacturing tolerances suck shit & this causes lots of crap to get into the market
get a ruger lcp2
>>35071305
I just bought one with the PSA Labor Day Sale plus the rebate, glad to hear you like it since it'll be my first Taurus and I've heard such terrible shit. If it seems reliable I'll for sure carry it as I have a massive revolver hard-on and hate small semis
So general consensus is M&P Shield is a good little conceal gun?
>>35072613
You do know that the reason all these companies are giving away their .40 models is because ten years from now you won't be able to find a box of .40. They're phasing it out. I might actually buy some to sell in 20 years at a hefty profit
>>35073087
The same way you can't find a box of 38 special?
Oh wait, you can find plenty of that.
>>35070809
Get the dick grips or one of the other soviet ppk clones.
Not my top pick but someone should mention cpx-2.
>>35073087
possibly the cringiest post I've ever read.
>>35070809
LCP, LC9, trade- in Glock
>>35070809

Yeah, about that not in stock...
>>35070809
glock 19
>>35073087
Yeah... You're right... Like you cant find .45acp or .38 special or .45 long colt or 32 acp or .32 mag or....
Get the picture?
3 used hi-points in .45 ACP, with a loaded mag each
>>35070839
+1 on a Shield. You can get lightly used ones for super cheap as well. Solid guns all around.
Carried a Kel-Tec PF-9 while trucking pizzas around town. Reliable, the slightly heavy trigger. Ended up trading it for a new Glock 43 and $100 cash.
>>35071277
>Are you ok with a relatively limited capacity? Are you willing to sacrifice comfort and a a little concealability for easier recoil control?
I carry a Ruger SP101 so this would be an improvement in all areas.

My comrades
>>35071277
Bullshit dude, we got at least 20 at my store. True, they sell alot and are decent pistols for the price but you can find them just about anywhere.
>>35076735
+1 as well. All the online shops with police trade ins are fine for their price tag.
>>35077924
Adding my bulgy to this chain of mak pics
>>35078084
>no dick grips
I kid, comrade. In all honesty the black ones they usually ship with are comfy af, and I was really surprised at how good the gun feels in the hand.
>>35073083
Yes they're good for the price. I paid $250 for my Shield .45 and it runs like a beast.
>>35073041
Taurus is a gamble EXCEPT the PT92 and PT111 G2
>>35070809
Palmetto state has the pt111 for $199 right now, but I've seen them go as low as $159 final cost after Taurus rebate.
Those that have Bersas love them. It has a fixed barrel like a ppk/s or makarov, so they should be straight shooters. Those are $259.
Either choice leaves room for a holster and ammo within our budget.
I've been somewhat pleased with my Ruger SR9C, also offered in 9mm and .40 i believe, easy to handle, manual safety if you prefer that... stupid easy indicators to see if the gun is cocked, and round chambered...
the 9mm holds 10 rounds in a flush fit mag (also includes pinky extension, AND they make a 17 round with flush fitting sleeve which makes the handle full sized like the regular SR9. You get both a 10 and a 17 round when you buy, and they're right around your 350 price
Also has adjustable rear sight

Yeah, get the bersa. Just be aware that buying new magazines can be fucky. My "bersa thunder CC" mags do not fit my bersa thunder CC. At all. Way too large.
Beyond that, solid gun. I don't use it, but can't bring myself to get rid of it.

Used sigma/sd they are really just SW knockoff glocks.
>>35076735
Between Armslist and my LGS's used and consignment section, new shields can be bought online, shipped and transfer fee paid for much less than the former options. You also might get a couple free mags and ammo if SW ever gets around to honoring refunds.
>>35071918
Yeah, anon, just conceal carry a broadsword. That will never malfunction. No moving parts!
>>35084252
MY. FUCKING. NIGGER.
