SPAS 12's are pieces of overly complex shit, dangerous unless they have the cross block safety, and beat themselves to death and crack receivers if the buffer dries out. Yet they sell for $1500-$1800+ all of the time. That's the same MSRP as a Beneli M4 which is better in every way, yet people still buy the SPAS 12. You know why?

Because people collect things, and not every gun you own needs to be run like your mother in a whore house.

Used 941's sell in the $500 for the gun with one magazine. I don't know what used magazines go for (probably $15-20? each), but two of those mags are for .41 AE, which you will probably never use, just like the .41 AE barrel. It doesn't seem like a good value to me unless you are a collector.

If somebody spent THAT much time collecting EVERY python ever, then guess what, he should be able to do as he pleases with them. This is a cool, out of production piece. There's a lot of history here in the failed .41AE and it's a great talking point if he chooses to show it off.

Again, I reiterate, not every gun needs to be rattllecanned for your respective terrain and 100% functional. If people like you had your way, channels like Forgotten Weapons would cease to exist. Some guns will be inherently more rare because of production size, import restrictions, etc. I'd rather those guns be in a collection of somebody who can appreciate and pass down the history than some shit nose brat like you who would just bitch about the "worthless" .41AE barrel and leave it in a closet somewhere.

Jeez, I'm >>35071413 and I am into HK Long Guns. I have three SL8s, one is being converted into a G36E clone while the other is getting an XM8 kit slapped on it. What I've put into those guns kills me, the rear receiver stub of my G36 was around $800 alone, but I'm a collector. Not just of guns, of many things.

It does suck that HK Parts more or less has a monopoly on, well, HK parts. And monopolies DO suck. Like the dude who bought up all of the Matebas. I actually was only intended to own 2 SL8s. The second I bought was 100% factory stock. I told the dude how I intended to convert it, and he was like, "Oh... that's a shame. This is a nice looking gun. Nothing has been done to it. but it's yours now, so I guess that's that."

Then I started looking it over and realized he was right. It's uncomfortable as hell to hold, but I love the space gun. It's an SL8-1, so it's gray.

Yeah, I really did get a good deal on all of them. The thing is, I'm a collector of all guns. I just love firearms, be they mall ninja as hell or fuddish as my uncle. I've also got a FS2000 and a SBR'd PS90. Well, I have the stamp and barrel, but I need to get it engraved.

That being said, my most recent acquisition is actually an early production Type 99 Arisaka. It's got the AA sights and everything. The only thing wrong with it is the missing dust cover and cleaning rod. It even has a chrome lined barrel.

Just got a Tikka T3 in 30-06. Shot it yesterday and like it a lot, need a new recoil pad for it though. I'm still feeling it today after only 20rounds.
Any other must haves for a tikka?

Picked this up today and put 50 rounds through her. I quite like it. A lot thinner then my 15 round beretta. Met an old retired gentleman while I was there. We shoot the shit and turns out he was a reloader so I gave him my brass. Got to fire his Kel-tec PF-9 which was one of the other guns I was considering. Incredibly happy I didn't thing was snappy as hell and the trigger was horrifyingly bad.

Just got home and cleaned it for the first time. Slide comes off like my old glock and looks pretty similar inside. Including FFL transfer fee came to $350 total, going to get in on that free 2 mag and 50 rounds of critical duty deal going on.
