Pick one. The badge is not an indicator of exceptionality. It is an indicator that someone passed the physical and background check, and took an oath. They are civilians who opt-in to an established inner circle run by good ol' boys. That circle's job just happens to be enforcement of our society's laws. Maybe you should take a look at some of the injustices committed by LEOs in the past several decades and view them with a more critical eye instead of blaming a movie for criminality and general impulsive violence inherent in human beings.
