Hey there buddy. Op here, I'd like a quality made 10mm that has a better grip than a Glock. I've never shot the 29 or 20 all that well. So I sold them and got a Delta Elite. I got to tell you, it wasn't that great of a gun. You see I don't really like 1911's either.
Now I had a SIG Legion and that was a very accurate gun for me, just like my beretta 92fs and CZ 75, all 3 of which have cock sized grips.

So here I am wanting a gun for camping and the 220 Legion in 10mm seems like the obvious choice but I just hate SIG. The last legion I bought has some finish blemishes. SIG released their 9mm mislabeled making false claims and didn't recall it when they found out. Their p238 and p938 have had a ton of problems and my own had issues with the slide stop popping out halfway through a magazine. Then they're trying to sell our government a non-drop safe pistol that was haphazardly ported over from a p250 in what can only be described as the ultimate (((Cohen))) con of the decade. SIG, like Kimber, was great before a certain someone got involved. So no, I don't want a SIG.

I would like a gun similar to a Legion 220 10mm only made by a reputable company.

S&W PC 629. Weighs like 36 oz and you've got 6 rounds of .44 mag. If you want lighter they have the 327 that has a scandium frame but you're going down to .357, however, you get 8 rounds and it's like 21 oz.

As others have said you really want a rifle for bear country. Pick up a .45-70 govt Marlin for cheap at a local store. Maybe they're not as good as they once were but quality has supposedly improved.

If you're hung up on 10mm auto idk what to tell you. I played that game for a long time and could never find an auto loader I was happy with.

All I could recommend is get one of the double action two tone sigs. They don't make them anymore but all of that lot was supposedly good.

Eh, I'm a bit half wrong considering the Glock 20 actually weighs more comparing the spec sheets on Glock and Sig's websites. Still the fact remains: The Glock 20 holds 15+1 rounds of 10mm and the P220 Hunter holds only 8+1. I would still go for the Glock because they're easy to maintain out in the sticks in the event that you get nasty stuff inside your gun, this cannot be done with a P-Series Sig. I own 2 Glocks and 2 P226's, ask me how I know.
