Recievers american made and century specific. Even the trigger groups aren't interchangable. There are quite a few problems with the vz2008 aside from the quality of century's manufacturing

I think the snickers version is maybe 70 or 80 bucks more with 1 less magazine. Not ported. But it comes with upgraded sights compared to the standard glock sights and a few other parts like different slide release, mag baseplates and other stuff i forget.

Got a new handgun today! This is my first centerfire handgun, a Sig P229. I paid $500, plus $30 for the transfer. He included 5 magazines, three of which are Sig brand. In addition, both the .357 sig and .40 barrels, with a box of ammo for each. He also included G10 hogue grips, wood grips, and factory grips. Lastly, he added a tru glo rear sight and chromed guide rod.

How did I do overall? Also, is there anything in particular I should check on it as far as wear?.

Just got a glock 26, Gen4, unfired, but "Used" for 380. How did I do?

So there's a used D Technik VZ58 in at my work and I wanted to get it so I put it on layaway. It's priced at 800 bucks though. Everyone says that it's way too high, but I could get it for 650 after some work around though. Also, it might not add much value, but it does still have the original CZ box.

I personally think it's a decent deal since it's a d D technik and not a century made one, but I honestly haven't looked much into it since I never knew I wanted one until I held it.

well, new ones from czechpoint in the US seems to be in the 1k plus range as well.

People are telling me that vz2008s are better value if you can find them used, but I don't know. I see the quality of their AKs on a daily basis, and it ain't great.
