According to Sig. They also said that the regular model was drop safe until people started posting videos. Post a video of the Sig M17 being dropped on it's back and I'll believe you.
>>
>>35049846
It has a manual safety that locks trigger movement.
You're being a retard.
>>
>>35049846
Yes, according to Sig. The same Sig that put in a striker block and disconnect on the M17 that weren't in the P320. You made an attempt, but unfortunately you're dumb.

DO WANT.

Why doesn't Glock offer different configurations like this? They'd crush any competition.

The better question is why are they still trying to shill the plastic mag meme. There's a reason no other company does it.

They're not plastic. They just have a plastic coating over the metal to make them more durable.

HK makes mags completely out of plastic you retard.

Glock could have at least put some taller steel and tritium sights on their pistol. It doens't need to be a MOS model. They should have just put sights that don't suck and are easier to use on their army trials pistol.

Also the Army requirements are dumb. Only the Sig P320 could possibly meet them. it was almost like someone in the army made them so only Sig could get the contract. they should also drop the need for a manual safety.
>>
>>35050589
But anon, it's MAW-JEWELER. Who cares if it's less reliable, accurate, and not drop safe?

Lmao, you've never tried to load dirty/muddy mags. They "coat" them in plastic (aka they're majority plastic with aluminum lining) to save money and make them look lighter on paper.

There's an important reason Glock will *never* offer a safety as standard: To do so would admit that the current "Safe Action" trigger system is not sufficient, that in fact, a trigger safety block is needed.

Glock will never admit this. It would undermine the last 30 years of their entire marketing agenda.
>>
>>35051261
yea like all those retarded faggots in spec ops, LEO community, and various other armed organizations.

Clearly they're just biased against the wholly superior USP design.

Well they need they realize its more what what someone prefers, rather than if its sufficient or not.
>>
>>35051448
Then why did they add one to the military model?

Also the Sig only got picked because it was a lot cheaper. Literally no reason to go out and buy something because some military picked it for being the cheapest. You should actually be deterred from buying things the police/military use considering their main concern is budgeting.
>>
>>35050915
>plastic coating
>more durable

Correct. You can't scuff or dent them as easily as metal mags.

>Lmao, you've never tried to load dirty/muddy mags.

Yes I have. Glock mags load fine dirty unless they're literally packed with mud.

>They "coat" them in plastic (aka they're majority plastic with aluminum lining) to save money and make them look lighter on paper.

The fuck do you mean "on paper"? They ARE lighter than most metal mags.
>>
>>35051860
Not applicable to small orders from tier 1 units.
>>
>>35051527
>>35051597

These statements do NOT prove that there were striker blocks or disconnects added to the MHS pistols. They only claim that the MHS pistols were not affected, which, unless the above mentioned features were added without being written about, was a lie. It was a lie when they said that the commercial P320 was drop safe as is, and it's a lie now. They have good reason to lie: they want to protect those MHSbucks. Don't listen to a company that lies consistently to protect it's bottom line anon.
>>
>>35052686
>The fuck do you mean "on paper"?
Being light makes Glock look good on paper, but in reality they're less reliable because of it, with the plastic mags, sights, and malfunctions if you don't death grip them.
>>
>>35051098
I like the backwards round in a mag.
>>
>>35053407
This is misinformation. Glock mags have a steel liner, and they are extremely durable
>>
>/o/ tripfags
>on my /k/
>>
>>35053463
>He thinks it's steel
>>
>>35052574
Maybe people shouldn't "prefer" a device that does nothing to increase said guns sufficiency - especially when it makes or breaks a deal on a gun for that buyer. The fact that people have to buy alternatives (and the manufacturers often desperate to even sell those alternative glocks even with rebates) to a glock because of some inane and subjective preference while trying to convince themselves and others their gun is "just as good" says a lot.

>>35051860
LMAO. You do know the Mk23 is in SOCOM armories and was already on their GSA schedule (or however the fuck they order it) and yet they went ahead and put in the extra man hours and all the other associated procurement process for adopting the Mk27 (G19) so they could buy all new units instead of using their existing stock of Mk23s. The pretense that these tier 1 units are all gnashing their teeth over budgetary concerns and only if they could they could already use the USPs in their inventory (and supplement some extra orders to flesh out any stock deficiencies) meanwhile ordering up whole new contracts for acquiring new G19s is laughable.

This is coming from a dude who owns both a Gen 4 G19 and a USP in 9mm. The glock is ten times the gun in design in terms of maintenance and armorers tasks as well as accepting modern features on handguns like RMRs. Just go ahead replace your trigger reset spring in your USP and see how nice of a gun it is.

>>
>>35053592
Also the trials were for a modular handgun and neither the Beretta M9A3 or the Glock 19 MHS were modular. Actually, it's surprising that the Glock stayed in the running for as long as it did since it didn't really fit the criteria in the first place.

>>
>>35054312#

Then tell them to fucking get the rest of their product lines unfucked. Stop with the meme finishes. Stop putting rails on everything. And use a god damn standard picatinny rail when you do. Also pay more attention to the quality of your guns and less on your marketing department.
>>
>>35054392
>meme finishes
Elaborate
>rails on everything
Again, elaborate
>spend more on quality
I've worked at a couple of different fun manufacturers, and believe me the parts sig makes (barrels, frames, receivers, slides) are all checked 100%, and the tolerances in terms of machining are far tighter than anything short of LMT/DD/noveske
The problem with the 320 was an engineering issue, not a quality issue

You have no idea how many times these funds are inspected /tested. There's a lot of good people here who genuinely love guns and want to produce good products. We can't help it when the entire design has a flaw
