Is it a good idea to buy one of these?

For the historical value they're meh tier at best. Just get one of those M88As in 9 if you like the design.
I like my M57 Tokarev. Its a pretty good carry gun and they're cheap as dirt.
No reason to get a surplus one unless you like the aesthetic

Yes. The answer is always yes.

>carrying a tok
The absolute madman
>>35046656
Is there any downside other than overpenetration? Considering doing this myself.

I had one a few years ago.Chicom 57. Nice range toy and historic curio. Shot okay. Ergonomics were fucked. I traded it on for another gun. Have never missed it.

No transfer bar. Will go off when dropped with a round in the chamber. I still carry mine every now and then.

m88a and m70a with the slide safety are dropsafe.
all the other toks are not
>>35046735
>>35046754
correction m57 is also dropsafe
>>35046778
So the slide safety models are drop safe? I'm guessing the frame safety m57s are not?

Do it
This is all the info I gfound on the web for my problem! I have a .38 Super Barrel, it wont feed from the Magazine. If I do what this is saying will I be able to switch back to 7.62x25 and not have a problem with that feed?
"The .38 Super case is semi-rimmed and thus the feed rails on the removable hammer/sear assembly MUST be opened by filing them on the inside to open the channel in order to allow the case to pass through. It's easy enough to do. Another possibility, if you don't want to open the rails, is to cut down 9mm Winchester Magnum cases that are rimless to 23mm."

Stick-ups dont exist anymore, you just die

Nice, sad part is the grips cost 1/2 what the whole gun does!
>>35046793
Yet another reason to spend the extra 20 bucks on a new one
>>35047037
>that listing
Holy shit. But yeah, custom wood grips aren't cheap, but they can really make the gun much nicer looking.
I hate to admit it but the Tok is my favorite
>>35046522
no

Go for it anon. Those guns are comfy af.

>>35046522

Not a fucking tokarev
>>35047540
what are you, retarded? the tokarevs in Kingsman are clearly just tokarevs with a weird underbarrel shotgun attachment, and also ten round mags.

Congratulations on outing yourself as fucking retarded.
A simple reverse image search would've shown you otherwise.
Have some more "totally not tokarevs"
