I got one of mine yesterday, pic related (shot in iPotato), Coonan .357 Magnum semi-auto 1911-style pistol.. It's had about 125 rounds of .357 Magnum between four people with no malfunctions.
I put an additional 60-70 rounds of .38 special with the .38 recoil spring installed but it only properly ejects 1/5th of the time.. which frankly I bought it to shoot .357, not .38 spl, so it's not a big deal to me,If I have to shoot .38 in it i'll keep the magnum spring
Next on the list is a Mateba.. but that's a bit of a step up in price..
What are /k/s dream guns? Are you going to be able to make it a reality?
>>35044384
I also want a Mateba, but I think my all-time dream gun is an original MG42. Obviously not going to become a reality unless I save for about 5-10 years.
>>35044384
How hard is it to find spare mags for that?
I got my MAS 36 today. I've been obsessing over this gun for a while.
>>35044464
Not hard, they're still in production.
$60 MSRP, but I work for an FFL dealer and I get them for cost.
Personally, short term-ish, I'm saving for a Griswold & Gunnison
>>35044421
Why a MG42? Not any of it's ancestors? I'll hazard a guess; it's because you don't know jack about it and you think it's cool because you use it in all your vidyas.
>>35044538
lol Why does anyone want an MG42? I mean, I'd certainly take an MG34, but the 42 is the one in popular media.
>>35044589
Manurhin (You)
Since when did /k/ start getting elementary schoolers?
If you give him a (You) you deserve to be banned along with him.
>>35044384
Picked one of mine up today actually! I got a ridiculously good deal on a 1913 Model 1897, like too good to be true, but it was in this case. Paid 270 bucks for it, it's at the smith right now getting a look over done to see if I'll need to get a new barrel (about a fifty fifty chance it looks like), but he says he can get me a new one for 100 bucks or less if I do. Of course I'll just get a new barrel to shoot and keep the old one for collector's value. It's my first gun purchase I've bought myself and haven't inherited.
>>35044699
I'm sorry for posting the shit thing. What is your favorite dream gun, anon?
>>35044384
Jericho 941F, and a super super cool looking AR
An SKS too, I have pretty humble dreams
>>35044487
I really want to get the paratrooper version, it just screams to be thrown into a bag.
Ac556k
Wa2000
P38k
I can afford it, but I cant justify it.
>>35044384
I just got a job after a year of NEETdom.
Soon™
Because I practically grew up on Counter-Strike 1.6
Can't get one at the moment because I don't have my handgun license yet.
Problem is I'm wrong-handed so I'm not sure if I'll still get one or get a FNX-45 or something instead.
>>35046111
Really, you can afford a WA2000?
>>35046209
Really. Several times, assuming Earl is still selling them at 80k.
>dream gun isn't real
Hold me, /k/omrades

N O I C E
I wonder if it's easy to get in leafland too though. Probably.
In the past I would say M16 rdias or a HK auto sear but with the binary triggers getting better and better I am not sure if they seem worth it to me anymore. A Lage mac11 is something I might still be interested in given the price is more reasonable.
Maybe now it would be a Deserttech HTC in 50 bmg, an M107a1, or Serbu BFG 50a.
There are obviously other things I want but these top the list in price. Eg a very nice AR10 has been on my list but it's not a "dream gun" per se given relative price.
Automag in .30 carbine, m107a1.
Yeah I know, not that special.
>>35046292
>assuming Earl is still selling them at 80k.
Lel no.
Not since the 80's.
Try about 250k, last I saw before he took the prices off his site.

I've had a boner for these since the first Metal Gear Solid
>>35044538
Wow you're a cunt. MG42 is iconic and very historically significant. Not everyone wants a special snowflake 1 of 500 prototype.
I've always wanted one, even before walking dead came out I swear
>>35044384
Been wanting an M9 since I was about 12. I'll be getting one this Friday.
>>35048507
I want one because of Soda desu

Elder god tier taste in comics, my dude
>>35048818
th-thanks
Haven't read any in a very long time but IIRC the gun porn in it was out of this world
>>35044421
You want a mateba but you think you have room to weigh in on why another anon wants a 42 despite the fact that he will never be using it or its spawn for its intended role and this makes any improvement irrelevant
>>35046145
So swap the lever. The mag release is ambi and you won't be able to forgive yourself if you get the FNX.
>>35048507
Well all did
>>35049043
Everything was out of this world in this comic, 2bh
>>35049163
Yeah, before >>35046586
replied I didn't even know you could do that. I'm a complete noob with handguns.
What's wrong with the FNX? I shot one the other day and I thought it was pretty sweet.
>>35049204
Different anon but the FNS/X feels cheaper, squishy squishy memes aside, and I personally despise the grip texturing.
I'm also pretty sure it doesn't have the same testing pedigree as the USP/Mk23.
I don't think the FNX is as bad as other anon says, since it does have good points like higher capacity, a usable rail, and full ambi out of the box with a button release that some people like. The tactical model also has a cutout for optics if you're into that.
Between a USP and FNX, standard or tactical, consider which handles better, or how much you value the modern features of the FNX compared to the pedigree, cool points, and a e s t h e t i c s of the USP. I'd personally take the USP because of the cool factor, the paddle mag release, and because the FNX grip texture is awful for me.
>>35049153
Wrong anon, but yeah that guy was a cunt. I want an MG42 because it's the ultimate "bad guy" gun.
>Vis (Polish designation pistolet wz. 35 Vis, German designation 9 mm Pistole 35(p), or simply the Radom in English sources) is a 9×19mm caliber, single-action, semi-automatic pistol. The pistol was valued by the Germans, and towards the end of the war issued to the German paratroopers. As a pistol largely based on the Colt 1911 and using 9 mm rounds, it is highly prized among collectors of firearms

Where from? My $100 sporter is just making me want the real deal.
