That's likely an adult Asian.

Also sell your child.
>>
Ruger 10/22

Nah, just too lazy to find a white kid pic

Also FINGER OFF THE GODDAM TRIGGER
>>
10/22 depending on their age, zero recoil and cheap boolits so they can fuck around with it
>>
>>35044175

How young? If they're still very small, get them a cricket .22 rifle. Things tiny, single-shot, cheap and simple as fuck. Perfect to teach a very young child the basics.

If they're older then get them something more suited to their age and frame, but still simpler is better especially if they aren't perfect on firearm safety rules. It's alot harder to have a ND if you're being taught on something that either holds one round at a time, or is bolt/lever action rather than semi-automatic.

.500 S&W Magnum make that kid work for his wrist muscles
>>
Don't buy the garbage Crockett! Start a young kid with the savage rascal. Same accu trigger as there other bolt guns so it shoots great. Go with a ruger american bolt action .22 if the are a little older.
>>
>>35044204
Right here, I still love mine.
>>
>>35044175
you know crew served weapons are easier/safer for children to operate.
someone here must have the info graphic
>>
>>35044175
The first gun I ever shot, was an MP5. I was 12. It's a 9mm carbine, it has low recoil for a child to control, ammo is cheap and available, and it's cool af.
>>
Oh wait, you said cheap, nvm.
>>
>>35044175
10/22, Marlin Model 60, any 22 bolt action
>>
>>35051022

Are you suggesting that OP goes and buys a select fire, compact, NFA item worth about $15,000 for his kid to shoot? Is that what you are saying?
>>
>>35044175
Depends. Where I'm from, there's 'Buy one AK47, get one child soldier FREE' deals. Does the kid have prior training? What's his kill count?
>>
>>35051166
yes
>>
>>35044175
A cheap .22 revolver. You can buy the cheapest of the cheap .22 ammo and have no problems. Besides the fact that you can probs find one at a gun show for ~$100.

Bad idea. Never get your kid a pistol. Get them something long enough so that it would be difficult for them to flag themselves/others.

My dad got me a Rossi Youth Rifle and I loved it. Pic related, you can get get a new one for $249 and it comes with 3 barrels. One in 22lr, one in 7mm magnum, and one in 20 gauge shotgun. Great for plinking at cans, hunting dove, or something bigger if your kid is some kind of stealth ninja. Also it's break action so it's going to be easy to teach him how to use it/make sure it's clear.
>>
I remember my dad teaching me to shoot with some old no-name .22. After about 50 rounds he gave me his .45-70 and told me it only had a little more recoil.

I was 7. My dad was a dick.
>>
child's air rifle, then a 10-22 or marlin 60
