How long until all fighter military aircraft get replaced by drones?
Pilots are deprecated and UAV are much cheaper.
They are clearly the future, the only question is how soon?

Pilots are still very valuable, and cannot be replaced by drones while performing the same tasks that fighter aircraft does today.
what i see happening is UCAV being used to augment fighter aircraft, though even that is probably way into the future.
As soon as the Military-Industrial Complex can make more money with drones than with piloted aircraft.
In theory, the military tells Congress what they need, and then Congress authorizes buying it from defense contractors. In practice, defense contractors tell Congress what they want to sell, and hand them a bunch of technically-legal bribes; Congress then authorizes buying it and tells the military that they have to use it, no matter how useless or broken it is.
Welcome to life in a late-stage democracy, kid.

Enlisted will eventually replace much of the role Officers do with UAVs and will be called "operators." There will always be some officers as pilots in the air because of muh traditions, but they will likely be a glorified JTAC/platoon commander of the enlisted-operated UAVs in the sky.

I wrote that a while back. The last few paragraphs are the long version of my answer to your question.
Utter decades
UCAVs with the same cabability cost the same as manned jets.
And you still have to train pilots to RC them.
>>35042167
training operators is cheapter and faster than training pilots
Fuck UAVs, I hate them
