I'm thinking about getting a Troy PAR in .223, but I heard there are extracting issues with it after shooting ~30 rounds due to the fluted chamber. Can anyone confirm or deny?
Also, does the 2017 model still use a fluted chamber?
Avoid Troy. Bad ethics. They employ one of the Ruby Ridge Snipers, Dale Monroe. Monroe Testified in court in Defense of Lon Horiuchi saying that he (Dale) would have taken the same murderous shot that Lon did, murdering Vicki Weaver while she was unarmed except for the infant she was carrying. This is completely true.
Avoid Troy.

I heard there was a problem with the pump release breaking or something.

Why not just buy a semi AR?
>>35039555
Because I live in Europe and I would need a license for getting a semi auto and even if I got one after jumping through the loops, I am only allowed two guns that are semi auto or pistols, while I can get a pump action rifle over the counter without all the fuss.

Stuff like that is what I am concerned about, but I've also read elsewhere that some people aren't having any problems at all.
On their website, troy states that they upgraded the pump action, perhaps this fixed it?

I shot a range rental one here in NY, maybe 100 rounds through it no issue.

Austria or Germany ?

I live in a pretty lax state and I still want one and its AK counterpart. ARs are good rifles, but they're ubiquitous and were tripping over them now. There are other interesting designs to look into. My reasons differ from OPs, but it doesn't hurt to point out that people often get locked into narrow mindsets with guns

>dead criminal cultists and nazis
That sounds like a reason as to why I should buy it, thanks.
