All my family's safe at a neighbors house up the hill. No power but they're safe. Definitely gonna look into that. We have access to a 7.3 so it'll likely run on anything. Definitely trying my best to keep clean because I hate feeling greasy in the first place, hydration isn't a problem because of wells and for now we have plenty of deer meat stored up. If we start to run out we can always go shoot something else. I have a 50 cal ammo can literally full of loose .22lr so I'm not worried about it. He took some pictures of it for insurance purposes since it was a fairly new boat but I didn't think to take any. I live in Dickinson (not technically though, we're unincorporated Galveston county, but literally across a one lane road from Dickinson) and it got pretty bad on the other side of town. Helped my buddy clean up his old house, dude lost everything and so did everyone else in his neighborhood. My buddy in League City lost everything also, and went straight to work from the shelter since he works for Centerpoint. Shit was rough.

Fortunately where I live I didn't get any flooding or anything, and I was just down the street. I had power pretty much the entire time too, it was out for a bit on Saturday but that's all. I was prepared for chimp outs since the neighborhood next to where I have my townhouse is a ghetto shithole, but other than a few shady people in trucks asking me weird questions, I didn't have too much of a problem. I would through on my poncho and my CZ P01 concealed and walk around and check on my friends that live around my place, everyone was warm, dry, and armed.
