When they end up cleaning their own house maybe in the utopian post multicultural apocalypse the surviving spanish and portuguese could go for a land grab of the once populated areas known as England and france,they'll meet up with the italians and the eastern europeans will occupy germany...After that the rest of the world will be easy level since all there will be left are sand niggers without technology and there will ideally be absolutely no engagement restrictions...

Assuming they uncuck themselves, they could probably leverage their historical and linguistics strengths into the beaner equivalent of the British Commonwealth.

No. For some silly reason I don't get Spain essentially withdrew itself from world politics after their empire collapsed. Even when they had a chance during ww2 to make an impact again, they chose to remain neutral. I've always found it strange that such a historically significant country suddenly decided to bow out. I mean, the English and French relinquishing most of their overseas holdings hasn't kept them from being major power players.

They had some dinástica disputes that basically lasted the 19th century that century can be resumed in coup d'etats and dynastic infighting,they got some air thanks to ww1 were they got the funds to develop the country then the stock exchange went to shit and the commies went in by the time the civil war ended spain was weaker than germany in 1945 it's whole infrastructure was destroyed,it's railway and locomotives turned tk scrap and those who weren't killed or exiled were maimed.
Franco explained so to hitler and thus he basically explained that if going to war he would need the germans to equip them and also to feed the civics since all the able bodied youth remaining would be gone.
That being said the infantry was excellent hard as nails vets used to hardships they simply lacked any modern equipment.
