My SL-3 grenade vest came in today. It's stamped May 1918. Can't beat that almost-100-year-old milsurp smell. Also managed to stuff 85 or so shotgun shells in it, which was apparently a thing in WWII.

>>35021312
Standard issue for the the Bundeswehr until quite recently.
Good quality, but most on the market are old expired West German masks, not fit for anything beyond dressing up.
Still one of the coolest looking ones you can find on the market if you aren't into the Soviet hood style masks.
New stuff
A rare one. Can hardly find photos of the Hondurans wearing duck hunter, let alone the boonie. Very small size.
Got these two together for $10 shipped.
It has a strange snap-strap that runs through holes in the liner of the boonie.
Also has a single snap to wear it traditional Central American style.
This one is floppy as hell, very comfy. Does not have terrycloth lining like the Australian ones though.
>>35024050
Also forgot to add the 5 rings in the loops of the Honduran one were made with it, not added on.
The new Kiwi pattern blends well with 70's shag carpets.
Named and numbered. Also has a small hidden map/document pocket in the interior.
Tag is completely washed so no production info, probably around 2012 though.

Did the Finns use field gray or field green German helmets during the Winter War/Continuation War?
What do Y'all think of the Navy's NWU type 3 camo? We just switched over, and I feel it is too light in color.

That's debatable. According to /ourguy/ Weaponsandstuff93, old masks are good to go if they still make an airtight seal (and you can find new filters for them).

Picked this up at an estate sale today for $15, I have no idea what it's history is beyond what's printed on it, but it looked cool. There was a couple of other similar things there that I didn't grab.
So looking online the other 2 kits were Carlisle ones, I'm gonna see if they're still there tomorrow and see if I can pick them both up for half off.
Mail arrived, first time I've ever had a package come in a cloth sack tied off with twine. The most Eastern European package I've ever gotten, only it surprisingly doesn't smell like cigarettes.
>>35041858
I had something from Uzbekistan come like that.
The first is a pair of Tunisian trousers. These are worn by a regiment called the Groupement Territorial Saharien (GTS).
They are basically a sort of border patrol for the Algerian/Libyan border area of the Sahara. Naturally they are very big, baggy, and thin. As the pattern doesn't have an official name I've taken to calling it sand cow.
Judging by the cut, tag, and the fact they came from Britain I can only assume the British made them for the Tunisian army.
And the second is a Belarusian flora parka. Not much to it, apart from that it is somehow both worse and better made than the Russian parkas.
Blue fur is always a sign of satellite state winter items. The Belarusian flora is also slightly lighter toned than the Russian one. All markings are worn away.

Depends if you just want French buckle boots or actual canvas Algerian ones. They still use buckle boots today but the Algerian boots are quite rare and expensive and usually not available in human sizes.
Then again if you get repro instead of original you can save quite a bit and still be able to wear the stuff. Just depends if you want to collect it or dress up.

Yeah, people come up with the silliest names for these things. There´s nothing "sniper" about the KZS, it was commonly issued to pretty much everybody, apparntly it was designed as a super cheap disposable "camo cover" for wear over the chemical protection suits.

But all the other patches, including the rank ones, seem to have been attached at the same time with the same thread. The name and branch tapes are also different fabric types.

No attached bayonet shameful display

>turning down a SEAL BDU
Unless it was already expensive you could have turned that around for like $50 on ebay
>>35095126
More like $15
>>35095139
Hm. They used to go for more.
>>35095169
That's if they're RAID modded.
For some reason early-mid Iraq/Afghanistan stuff has been getting more interest recently. I kind of wish I saved more RAID modded items instead of selling most of them so quickly a few years ago.

Wow I see your sewing skills have improved quickly. Shame you had to use them to defraud others!
muh multicam tho
USIA brush bandit bag. 55 OTD from the surp shop. New condition.
Thinking about using it as a daypack for uni / gym / short trips to the outdoors
USIA claims it's merely water resistant rather than dive rated. Will probs acquire a rucksack liner to save the inside from abrasions from sharp book corners.

>>35095231
Sold off a dcu camo one last week. Apparently they're nuclear and biological resistant too.
>>35095271
Oh fuck off, nobody asked you.
>>35095271
Is there any possibility to get latpat fabrics?
>>35095536
Doesn't seem common.

>>35096482

>>35094776
I'll just stick with Hikishop repros for now, thanks.
>>35095117
That reminds me, anyone know of the $50 Type 30 Baronet reproductions on the market out there are any good?
What the heck is this?
>>35096779

Mine had some damages on the grip and the leather shaft, blade was good tho. Can't go wrong for the price i guess...
>>35097321
No, not those ones
those seem farb as all hell - bayonet blades were never curved like that afaik
talking about this'un
>>35097357
Yeah youre right, aside from the fact that if attached u would shoot the tip of the blade.
Damn i wasted some money there...
Any german collectors here? Where do you get your stuff? For me its local armyshop and internet stores, any tips/hints?
>>35097401
eBay.de can be a true treasure trove if you're patient and persistent enough.
I kinda wish I could find a wool bodysuit.
>>35095048
Nevermind the fact that it was probably fake.
>>35097207

They were some fine slippers. Too bad they wore out.

What is this camo called? Where can I get matching pants cheap?
The other day I saw a female walking around in a uniform that looked like it was tailored. It was the woodland colorway of the DPM pattern. I didn't see any insignia. The one thing that stuck out were her boots; black leather toe with the rest of the boot (ankle up) also being DPM pattern.
I know for a fact that she is currently in a foreign military. She looked eastern european.
Anyone have an idea what nation she belonged to?
>>35100865
Turkish woodland
>>35101351
"VSR", or officially "VSR-93". Every now and then on ebay. Russian, US, and Brit sellers often have them at a fairly frequent rate.
>>35101918
Never seen the camo boots before but Bulgaria and Romania both use DPM patterns.
>>35100865
>>35102276
It's Croatian or less likely Bosnian, the Turkish woodland pattern is different.
>>35102881
Check camopedia, it's the 90's/2000's Turk woodland.
Pamuk is one of the prime manufacturers for Turk uniforms. Also I've never seen Croat M65s with those types of zippers or buttons.
>>35091503
would kill fascist scum on sight/10
>>35101918
Never seen DPM camoe'd boots but DPM is used by a whole bunch of militaries including The Netherlands, New Zealand, and the russian MVD (maybe that's whee your girl came from) do you have any other details?
>>35105557
No. I think she may have been Romanian, the flag looks like it might have been on her shoulder but I don't remember it distinctly. She has long brown hair in a ponytail (not a bun), I believe a black backpack, and she wore a weird cover- it had a brim like a baseball cap but wasn't like an 8 point or a US army/air force cover. It reminded me of the old finnish or german covers kind of.

>>35105557
Me again, something just came to my mind. Could it possibly be that you got confused with the czech vz95 camo pattern? it's not DPM but it is somewhat similar (particularly at a distance, i could forgive you for confusing them).
It is an eastern european military and camouflaged boots do exist and are standard issue
Sending link because imagecap, if you are still interested and thread dies, ask again in the next thread and i'll try to help

I swear, it looked like DPM, but these boots look exactly like what she was wearing.
http://www.epicmilitaria.com/czech-m95-camo-army-boots.html
>>35105948
That's what I was thinking, not many militaries use camouflaged boots (to my knowledge only the czech, though i am probably missing someone else) and vz 95 is somewhat similar to DPM.
The czech have a cool camo, cool army and very beautiful women. Respectfully, I would have loved to see her.
>>35106051
Yeah, she's definutely a head turner. I've only seen her while marching in formation so I can't look for too long, but what I can see makes me hope I'll get to do a TDL with the Czech.

Maybe, I hate trying to Id woodland patterns
>Pamuk is one of the prime manufacturers for Turk uniforms
Pamuk means cotton in Turkish and most Balkan languages.
Well looks like the storm's gonna fuck the Tampa commies.

Is that cadpat?

I'm surprised nobody makes a decent Rhodesian pattern anything, although it's been a while since I've looked to be honest
