/arg/, I need help. My rear takedown pin absolutely will not go the last 4mm or so unless I use a hammer and punch and it's shown zero signs of any wear or getting any easier. I know it's not the pin because it fits in the lower normally without the upper and fits in the upper without the lower, and I know it's neither the spring or detent because it snaps in and out of place easily when the upper isn't attached. I've tried lubing it, I've tried squeezing the receivers together. Is this ever going to get better or do I need to sand the pin down?

16" CHF SOCOM or Heavy profile barrel with carbine gas. Lightweight bolt carrier group and light weight buffer. Heavy spring that comes with BFS. Throw a suppressor on there to really make it rip, but you might need to upgrade the spring to an even stronger one at that point.

This is an interesting conundrum. I was kinda talking to A2 about it the other day. For example once I get the can, I'll have over $2k worth of cash wrapped up in gear and accessories. This could easily be a nice AK and a PTR, or a couple of handguns, but the bottom line for me is that I'm not arming anyone but myself right now, and I can only really carry one long arm and one handgun at a time. I rather kit out other aspects of my "capability" as an adult citizen between the age of 18 and 45 then simply collect firearms.

Of course if I had more cash this wouldn't be a consideration. All about priorities. A 308 is good to have. A 308 is on my list of priorities.

It's not so bad within closer range targets, but it can be a bit difficult at around 100m to aim exactly where I want, though I still didn't have much issue hitting shit with it. The Strikefire 2 is a 4 MOA dot which is kinda big to begin with. This doesn't help with the astigmatism. Also you want to minimize the brightness to minimize the "splash". A smaller dot will help, and lens will help. If you have enough astigmatism to distort a red dot, you will notice a difference with correctives lenses.
